o Added the container size to incoming orders from our Portland service center - $5600 in savings

o Facilitated a Kaizen in the service shipping area that opened floor space for incoming material, improved the flow,

and brought packing materials closer to the point of use

• Project Management

o Developed a new layout with flexible implementation options for the plant’s second-largest product line to improve

the flow and reduce subassembly WIP throughout the value stream

o Led a layout change on one of our power factor product lines to improve flow and bring components closer to

point of use

o Coordinated the transfer and refurbishment of a small press brake, increasing our bending capacity by 9000pcs/mo

• Held setup reduction events to reduce the time it took to change injection molds by standardizing sprue bushings and color-

coding mold connections and end-of-arm tooling

• Led numerous flow and setup reduction events – designed, purchased material, scheduled resources, and had solutions

fabricated in-house
