This release is a customer specific release and includes a single repository using one set of Siebel

Business Integration Common Objects for both Siebel horizontal and vertical Business Integration

Processes (BIPs). The customer for this release is Toyota Financial Services and the BIPs are designed

based on the business requirements of this client. This release has a new set of industry-specific

business processes relating to Vertical functional areas (FINS BIPs) and also the cross-industry specific

business processes (HZ BIPs). These BIPs use the existing common object model (with some

enhancements).

Reactivity XML firewall (RXF) allows screening of incoming Web Services traffic and restricting

access depending on pre-configured policies. It acts like a reverse proxy for the SOAP and XML

traffic over HTTP.

Once authorization is successful, RXF creates a SOAP envelope to mimic the original request and

sends that envelope to the actual provider of that web service .The soap envelope will contain a

SAML assertion that will identify that the request originated from RXF. This assertion can be used

to restrict web service access only through RXF and not directly.

The web server that acts as the front-end for the HTTP transport of the SOAP request will have to

allow SOAP request only if it contains the SAML assertion from RXF.
