Vistakon, a division of Johnson & Johnson Vision Care, Inc Jacksonville, FL

Software Consultant

As a Technical Lead set up a Lens monitoring system in place to continuously monitor the manufacturing

devices while lens are being manufactured. This was a three tiered web based Application. The challenge

was to integrate data from the PLCs or manufacturing devices to web server. After the successful

deployment of this Application, numerous instances of label mixing were prevented thus directly

contributing to the saving of many thousands of dollars from possible lot mixes, customer dissatisfaction,

hardware purchases.
