Project Manager

• Managed fieldwork projects with an objective of stream enhancement and restoration for riparian,

aquatic, and water quality purposes.

• Conducted research on stream systems. Consulted in natural resource planning and river engineering

to ensure the reduction of erosion and soil loss at critical points along river channel systems.

• Directed crews of 3-60 persons while completing multi-phased projects on time, under budget, and to

the satisfaction of the company and state agencies.

• Involved in writing state grants for numerous projects, ranging from several thousands of dollars to

$3M.

- Virgin River south of Zion National Park, Utah. Large seven-stage project, state and federally

funded on public and private lands. Crew of 60 along 50+ miles of river.

- Santa Clara River through St. George, Utah. Project combined with Virgin River project.

- Little Colorado River west of Springerville, Arizona. Large three-stage project, state funded

with a crew of 45 along 12 miles of river.

- Salt River through Montezuma’s Castle, Arizona. Small stream enhancement project.

- Fossil Creek east of Camp Verde, Arizona. Large public restoration project collaborated with

state and federal agencies.
