Chrysler Assembly Plant North, St Louis, MO 1995 to 2009

Major automotive manufacturer of light duty and heavy duty trucks, mini-vans and automobiles

Provide technical safety support to production management.

Travel for buy-offs (testing & approving) of new equipment (Ergo fixtures, robots, etc)

Conduct audits and inspections to insure OSHA compliance.

Teach various OSHA required safety courses

Perform on-going inspections of plant machinery, equipment, and working conditions

Investigate incidents and unsafe working conditions and provide remedial action

Review incident reports, conduct investigations, make recommendations and follow-up on

implementation of recommendations.

Compile statistical data and provide remedial actions to achieve and prevent future accidents and

losses

Responsible for fire safety. Work with local fire safety personnel to insure compliance to local

and federal regulations

Handle chemical spills if and when they occur.

Maintenance and repair of fork trucks (high-low, tow motor), tuggers, flat beds, passenger carts,
