A Noble International Ltd. Company which supplies Tailor Welded Blanks to the Automotive Industry.
General Manager (2005 – Current) – Shelbyville, KY. / Tonawanda (Buffalo), NY.
Complete P&L responsibility for both facilities.
Responsible for managing a 140,000 sqft. Non-union plant of 100 people (KY) and a 25,000 sqft. Non-union plant of
20 people in (NY).
Peak plant sales were $75M (KY) and $15M (NY).
Led the Shelbyville facility in the achievement of the Chairman’s award for Quality 2005 through 2008 (less than 1
PPM for each period).
Drove down recordable injuries in the Shelbyville facility by 92% (from 24 to 2 recordable injuries 2004 to 2008) using
safety committees, employee involvement and enhanced awareness through Behavior Based Safety initiatives.
Through the improved safety performance of the plant, we were also able to reduce the severity of our injuries which
yielded decreased worker’s compensation claims from $20K to under $1K by the end of 2007.
Drove the company scrap reduction initiative from 6.25% in 2005 down to under 2.5% through 2008 resulting in
annualized savings of $900K annually (Kentucky Only).
Led the Tonawanda Facility project (May 2007) and was able to turn a profit during the first 6 months with forecasted
losses expected.
Hired key staff directed to establish inventory management through kanban and reduce inventories $1.2M in the first 6
months of implementation in NMP-Shelbyville, Kentucky location.
Led the Shelbyville Team in obtaining TS16949, ISO14001 and Ford Q1 designations.
Led the Tonawanda Team in obtaining TS16949 in only 16 months after the facility launched and Ford Q1 designation
within the 2nd year of operation.
Noble Metal Processing – Kentucky
Operations / Manufacturing Manager (2003 – 2005) – Shelbyville, Kentucky
Responsible for all aspects of manufacturing floor management including production scheduling, quality assurance
and customer deliveries.
Responsible for the overall safety environment for the production floor and all associates, suppliers and visitors.
Coordinated and troubleshot machine / processed problems with collaboration from the Maintenance and Engineering
Manager in assuring uptime, reducing scrap and meeting delivery schedules.

Secured the 1st outsourced laser welding program with Nissan Motor on the Altima Platform (Front Door Inner). From
there, grew the business into applications for the Maxima and Quest Platforms making Noble the largest supplier to
Nissan in North America for laser welded blanks.
Increased and grew laser welded blank applications with all “New Domestic” OEM’s including Nissan, Honda, Subaru
and Toyota.
Increased NMP-Shelbyville total sales and increased capacity requirements 2 years ahead of the plan when the
facility opened in the summer of 2000 through the sourcing of GM work at their Saturn Facility in Tennessee and
through Nissan business at both their Smyrna, Tennessee and Canton, Mississippi facilities.
