R ELEVANT EXPERI ENCE
• Performed fluid flow simulations and visualizations using computational fluid dynamic analysis software.
• Performed finite element analysis and component mode synthesis to simulate steady state and time
transient vibration characteristics of dynamic systems.
• Participated in activities such as factory and field vibration diagnostics and signal processing. These
involved collecting time series data to study dynamic behavior, performing FFT, envelope detection and
wavelet analysis to isolate frequencies of interest and troubleshoot vibration problems.
• Led and managed software development and modification projects to better perform analytical functions
as design process reengineering. Led the efforts in converting hierarchical engineering databases into RDBMS
and link them with various programs.
• Advanced levels of technology utilized by the product-engineering department by integrating the latest
software and analytical tools in the analysis process.
• Shared technical knowledge with design personnel through informal consultations.
• Developed computer codes for analysis of turbomachines using finite element and transfer matrix
method to calculate eigenvalue and eigenvector (natural frequency and mode shapes) in EXCEL VBA for
Windows to be integrated in XLTRCTM, licensed by Texas A&M University. These codes are used industry
wide for analysis of compressor drive trains.
