MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR: 2005 - 2008
Responsibilities included:
-Interfacing with Corporate, Upper, and Middle Management.
-Supervising 17 maintenance and facilities technicians across six miles and four buildings.
-Scheduling all production and facilities work orders, specifying and ordering spare parts.
-Setting up training plan for all direct reports and performing annual performance reviews.
-Reviewing data from CMMS to determine PM frequency, PM effectiveness, Inventory Accuracy,
and Critical Spares Levels.
-Working with Engineering on Process Improvements and Equipment Efficiencies.
-Developing department budget.
-Serving on and providing support for all safety teams.
Special Projects:
Corporate Team Leader to standardize the Computerized Maintenance Management
System (CMMS). $3.0m capital project.
Selected CMMS Software for the Corporation. Traveled to China to install and test CMMS.
Project Manager for a $500k capital project. Installed new chillers, cooling
towers, pumps, plate and frame heat exchanger, saving the company approximately
$50k per year in energy costs.
MAINTENANCE DEPARTMENT LEAD AND INTERIM SUPERVISOR: 2001 - 2005
Daily production accountability. Scheduled 6 technicians work load. Wrote PM’s for all facilities and production
equipment and provided performance feedback to supervisor for annual reviews.
Developed and implemented improvements in the Maintenance Department in the areas of 5S, CMMS,
and TPM.
Travel and installation of the slitter in 20-hour time period on a 48 hour deadline
Initiated a capital project of over $35k to purchase and install new air compressor and dryer, which
increased available plant cubic feet while reducing annual power costs by approximately 50 percent.
SR. FACILITIES MAINTENANCE DEPARTMENT TECHNICIAN: 2000-2001
Performed PM's, and electro-mechanical troubleshooting on all equipment in the facility.
Implemented new DataStream MP2 Preventive Maintenance Program. Equipment list setup, drafted all PM tasks,
setup task frequencies based on manufacture guidelines and entered all spare parts into stock.
MAINTENANCE MECHANIC: 1994 - 2000
Feb 1998- Served as lead technician for complete upgrade project of motors, gearboxes, and controls on
the companies’ oldest production lines. Included running conduit and re-wiring machines.
May 1995- June 1996 Installation of a $2.5 million dollar state-of-the-art coating line. Machine module set
up, laser alignment, wiring, fiber optic cable installation, hydraulic and pneumatic component installation.
MAINTENANCE ASSISTANT: 1986 - 1994
Responsibilities: Mild steel metal fabrication, using drills, grinders, torches, and welding.

Duesenberry Slitter Installation: Award given on behalf of Division President for moving, aligning and wiring a
machine and filling a customer order in less than 36 hours on a 3-day deadline.
Oxidizer repairs: Award given by Manufacturing Manager for working an 18 hour day. When the fan blade
failed, I arranged the counter to counter delivery of the part, and installed it to get production running.
