Description:
In a Leadership role mentored onsite and offsite teams to architect and implement a NEAR REAL TIME PROPAGATION
ENGINE (NRT) for data movement using ETL between the transactional system and Global Data warehouse
Authored the Customer Solution Document (CSD), Technical Solution Document (TSD) and Low Level Design Documents
(LLD) for TOAR and the Global Datawarehouse applications
NRT was built using a combination of cyclic, non-cyclic, on-demand ETL jobs using IBM Control-M scheduling tool, Oracle
database and Unix shell scripts to propagate data every 15 minutes between the transactional system and separated Global
Datawarehouse system

My role was to build and manage the enterprise BI and data warehouse which provided the best of Financial and Web analytics.
Requirements analysis, design, extraction transformation and loading of transactional data for a major PBM based of East coast.
The daily claims files were received on the FTP server. ETL was quite complex as we used get the claims from one source and
eligibility from the other.
ERWin was the data modeling tool that was used to generate the logical as well as physical data models.
Work with the Meta Data Architect to ensure common definitions and integrated implementation of the meta data repository
I was the ETL specialist who designed the loading of the pharmacy as well as the medical claims.
Designed, developed and implemented complex transformations in hundreds of mappings and implemented complete back-out,
error handling and cleansing strategies to minimize business risk

Successfully implemented a completed design, developed the ETL of a datawarehouse for one of the biggest Dental provider in
mid west. Develop the Logical Data Model and the subsequent Physical Data Model
The data was extracted from the ODS- Daily transaction log was received on the FTP site.
Incremental transaction log was applied to the read only database. A complete restore process was run every night. Once
restore was successful the datawarehouse load was commenced.
I wrote the extraction, transformation and loading (ETL) programs that would load the data warehouse every night.
