Specialized in pipe stress analysis. Duties include: identifying lines that require pipe stress analysis,

performing pipe stress analysis, designing pipe supports, specifying piping specialty items, springs,

and expansion joints, performing calculations per ASME piping and pressure vessel codes, and

inspecting completed jobsites to ensure properly set springs and restraints.

Proficient with stress analysis program CAESAR II and finite element analysis programs FE Pipe

and NozzPro.

Developed several Excel spreadsheets to help make the stress modeling process more efficient,

including one that calculates a single pipe with equivalent characteristics of a jacketed pipe. This

effectively reduces modeling time for jacketed piping systems by half.

Analyzed over 200 piping systems on 15 different projects.

Analyzed lines with temperatures ranging from -275 F to +1000 F, and sizes up to 36” diameter.

Piping Engineering lead on 3 projects.
