CanTech Services for RAYTHEON AIRCRAFT (Wichita, KS) 01/1998 to 04/2001
Member of the IPT ( Integrated Product Team ) as Senior Engineer with the primary task of Lead - Wire Harness
Integrator (ITAR Compliant), on the Hawker Horizon 4000, outfitted with a Honeywell Primus Epic Avionics suite.
Included in my tasks as an ITAR compliant Integrator was connector and wire selection/specialist, company
specification updates, as well as all base line harness related coordination among all program partners, especially
Fokker Elmo, the supplier chosen for the complete harness engineering and build. In addition, other tasks were the
wiring of cockpit panels, process flow setup and coordination, configuration control of the harness build, conformity
submittals, authored detailed statement of work for options, and other support tasks relating to design, manufacture
and production support. Also did costing for Raytheon from rework submittals done by the wire and harness
manufacturer.

Configuration control specialist; researched and prepared drawings and reports on numerous retrofit installation
projects on existing DASH-8 aircraft. Ensuing assignment was on DASH-8 Series 400 with a fully digital “glass
cockpit”. Responsibilities were Wire Integration & Harness Specialist using accepted HIRF & EMI
environment standards. Subsequent transfer to liaison functions between engineering and shop floor final line,
including electrical shop assembly and sub-assembly concerns. Responsible for Power Distribution
Communication \Nav\ Entertainment Systems
Invented, Engineered and Designed the “Configuration Connector”.
Acquired company MRB (AV/EL and Installation), to pull back lost aircraft and deliver to customer on time. Aircraft
brought to current configuration level working with rejection tags, prod. action requests (ECR’s) and shop revision
requests.
Liaison Engineering: -Represented engineering (avionics/electrics) in manufacturing. Consolidated, examined
and dispositioned discrepancies that always emerge in retrofit (CL-215) projects. Formulated "fast-path" solutions
within safety standards, which were most economical to both company and client.
Harness Engineering -Designed and completed numerous maximized harness assemblies for a newer (CL-415)
amphibious aircraft. Assisted and maintained a computer database required for harness engineering. Advised
company personnel of software improvements, which would make harness creation more cost effective. Wire
Integrator and Harness Specialist for the enhanced avionics installation on CL - 604 biz jet project.
Senior avionics/electrics designer; electronic data acquisition and configuration control specialist; researched
and prepared SOW reports on numerous retrofit installation projects.
