Sourced and placed contract and permanent candidates for various industries including IT, Telecommunications, Insurance, Medical
Device, Pharmaceutical, Medical Laboratory, Construction, Electronic, Aerospace, Aircraft, Weapon, Machinery, Plastic, Food,
Accounting, Theme Parks, and Local Government. Placed IT H1B candidates and dealt with their sponsoring agencies.
At Kelly Engineering Resources sourced and hired 502 engineering/professional contract personnel and 28 permanent employees.
Skills:
Effective communications (internal/external), behavioral interviewing, very good at getting candidate referrals, recruiting, service
delivery, customer service, cold calling, multitasking, overcome objections, close the deal, salary/hourly wage negotiations, creativity,
confidentiality, source for candidates/leads. Recruited for high volume and low volume situations. Served as Job Fair representative,
made in-person sales calls to prospective clients and established clients. Went on facility/factory tours. Communicated daily with client
companies to submit resumes, follow up on resumes, update job descriptions, etc. Had daily contact with hired contractors dealing with
personal, personnel, payroll, and benefit problems/questions. Other duties included reference checking, workman’s compensation and
unemployment compensation hearings.
I learned internal software at MetLife, TAD and Kelly for documentation. On various occasions have used Word, Excel, Lotus Notes,
ACT, Goldmine, Sendouts Pro, Outlook Express, I Simply Recruit, PCR and E-mail. Sourced through the Internet and posted positions
on Monster, Career Builder, Dice, etc.

Cold calling, sourced, recruited and placed Laboratory Medical Professionals (Generalist, Microbiologist, Chemical, Blood Bank,
Hematologist, Serologist, etc), Cytotechnologist, Histotechnologist, Phlebotomist and Supervisors. These candidates were placed at
hospitals, clinics, biotech and research firms and reference laboratories all over the USA. Position involved learning terminology,
understanding different licenses and certification qualifications for each state. Achieved $141,424.00 in permanent placement fees.

In 2/1995 this was a “start up” office. The office started without forms, clients, resumes or candidates. There was a manager, recruiter
(me) and an administrator. Sourced and recruited technical and professional candidates (engineers, CAD drafters/designers,
accountants, financial, IT professionals, pc/network technicians, technical writers, graphic artist, construction, etc.) Clients included
computer, medical device, electronic, machinery, aerospace, pharmaceutical, defense, financial/accounting and local governments. All
companies were in Florida, primarily in Orlando, Tampa/St. Pete, Fort Lauderdale/Miami, West Palm Beach and Jacksonville. Sourced,

Orlando: Source, recruit, hire for Tad’s largest Orlando client (Siemens-Westinghouse). Candidates hired included power turbine
engineers CAD designers/drafters, computer technicians and accountants. Also recruited technical/ professional candidates for other
accounts/clients. Atlanta: After accepting transfer, recruited for various technical accounts. Was given key account recruiting
responsibility for Lockheed (C-130 Cargo Planes) and AT&T. Trained entry-level recruiters. Won TAD’s “Recruiting Achievement
Award” in 1994. My peers and management voted on this reward. Country wide recruiting.
