1996 - 1998 Structural PDS Designer Fluor DanieL INC.-Cincinnati, Ohio.
Responsible for all information needed to complete a set of construction drawings
including details, plans, sections, elevations, etc. Created sections and details
from engineering information. All drawings created using AutoCAD, MicroStation,
and FrameWorks, associated with plant design system (PDS) design software.
Extracted views from the PDS model to create elevations and details.

1994 - 1996 Structural CAD Designer - The Cincinnati Gas & Electric

Duties included maintaining and creating construction documents for company’s
various power plants, such as Wm. H. Zimmer, Walter C. Beckjord, and Miami
Fort Stations. Worked close with structural engineers to gather information to
complete new construction and as-built documents. Acted as a liaison between
engineers and drafters to plan work in order to meet certain schedules and attend
pre-bid meetings to obtain job requirements. All construction documents were
created using Intergraph MicroStation 5.0 & I-RAS-B scanning systems.

Responsible for creating construction drawings for various clients, including
buildings for manufacturing, food process plants, steel mills and airport hangers.
Working directly with engineers to obtain information to create plans, sections, and
details to provide a complete set of working drawings. Also, work experience in
other disciplines, such as piping, material handling, electrical, and industrial
planning. All drawings created using Intergraph MicroStation 4.0. Also, created
custom palettes from system software to increase efficiency.

Responsible for creating a full bill-of-materials for all structural components which
included roof and wall panels, doors, windows, and structural steel. Supplied
shop drawings for the fabrication of steel members, such as columns, beams, and
bracing at company’s plant. As a CAD Operator, duties included making drawings
for the erection of steel members, including shake-out plans and structural
elevations. Used Auto-trol system with 5000 software.
