As an energy supplier, SSE’s role is to take responsibility for Customer Services like Meter
Reading, Billing, Invoicing, bill distribution, bill collection and customer care. House moves is a
type of customer service request received by SSE’s customer care - call centers.
Various customer service functions include finding details of current account if the customer is
not new to SSE, capturing or estimating meter readings for the date of move, selling additional
services, loyalties/affinities on the call, scheduling visits or appointments
Role : Module Lead
Responsibility : Handled the Visit module of the application with a team of 04 SEs. Major
responsibilities were to assign the tasks to the team and review the code.
Also co-ordinate with the onsite team and provide update on progress.
