Project Management Consultant 2009
Joined the PCT consulting team taking on responsibility for executing project management duties associated with
supporting the Windstream client project portfolio.
• Responsible for directing the Windstream IT resources involved in the Sales Force Automation (SFA) project,
and tasked with developing, monitoring, and managing development activities associated with the SFA project
plan. This software solution will enable the Windstream sales personnel to perform their sales tasks within a
single application (i.e. SalesForce.com) and eliminate the current “swivel chair” environment. This initiative will
be implemented by year end, resulting in significant annual cost savings.
• Led the project team responsible for implementing encryption technology within the Windstream Bad Debt
system, resulting in the successful remediation of internal auditor (Sarbanes Oxley) requirements. Managed
offshore and local resources associated with this project.

Sr. Manager, IT Development 2008
Promoted to senior level manager in first quarter of 2008. Designed and implemented infrastructures, and led
development of complex enterprise Internet and client server applications, including evaluation of technologies and
methodologies. Prepared project plans and resource allocations. Managed concurrent initiatives and project teams
of 20 professionals.

introduction of MPLS network solutions (into our Java platform OSS) enabled New Edge to become the first
provider to bring together Class of Service traffic management with high speed, low cost DSL access. The
successful implementation of this key initiative increased market share and contributed to bottom line
profitability.
Manager, Data Architecture & Business Applications 2006–2008
Directed activities associated with design, development and implementation of core enterprise data structures. In
addition, managed the software development, maintenance, and delivery of corporate business software
applications.
• Managed and directed the IT resources involved in the strategic Cost of Revenue project. The delivered software
solution enabled business units to research and analyze enterprise data associated with proprietary orders,
billing and vendor invoices. By year end, this initiative accounted for annual cost savings exceeding $1M, and
was highlighted at the annual corporate meeting.
• Led diverse, cross functional teams in the fulfillment of the sales multi site order entry system. This application
was our streamlined order entry and reduced time required to launch new products. In addition, the improved
product catalog enabled the implementation of data driven programming techniques and reduced code
complexity.
• Successfully led the development of The Network Inventory Management System (TNIMS) which introduced the
use of the Microsoft development technologies, .Net and C#. In parallel, the use of Agile Scrum practices were
introduced and utilized on this development project.
Manager, Systems Development 2001–2006
Directed activities associated with the corporate software OSS development team and performed project and release
management duties.
• Highly effective leadership, management and interpersonal skills, led to being recognized as “Best Director” at
the annual New Edge Networks Individual Excellence (NENIE) awards assembly in 2004.
• Oversaw the successful implementation of the company’s flagship enterprise order management and
provisioning software solution known as Wave. This solution was based on the Java 2 platform Enterprise
Edition (J2EE), utilized Enterprise Java Beans (EJB), and was implemented using the JBoss open source
application server technology. Successful delivery of release 1.0 eliminated the need for a vendor CRM software
solution and allowed our company to realize an annual savings of $450K. Release 2.0 enhanced performance
and improved scalability. Release 3.0 introduced an improved user interface and extended functionality.
• Directed the project team responsible for developing and implementing our partner network customer facing
website called MyEdge. The successful delivery of this application enabled our strategic partners to place orders
remotely, and view critical order and trouble ticket information via the web. It was developed using PHP open
source technology.
• Responsible for managing the successful implementation and maintenance of key customer (MCI, Sprint, AT&T)
Application Program Interfaces (API) supporting order entry into our enterprise OSS.
Manager, Solution Center 2000–2001
Managed a team of application developers focused on rapid delivery of corporate enterprise solutions. This team was
also responsible for corporate reporting solutions.
• Successfully developed and implemented sales commission system and enterprise reporting solutions. This
enabled sales, operations, and executive teams to effectively manage corporate initiatives and achieve
departmental goals. Key development technologies included: MS VB/Access, Oracle, and Seagate (aka Crystal
Reports).
