My background includes 20+ years of financial/procurement system implementation experience as well as 10 years

working as an accountant. My experience includes project management as well as participating in all phases of the

implementation of financial and procurement systems. The functions and areas of expertise include accounting, Fit/Gap

analysis, prototyping, process re-engineering, project management, system design, system configuration, conversion,

implementation, debugging, and training. I have been working exclusively with PeopleSoft since 1994. My roles over

the past 15 years have been in a management or lead role. My abilities are not limited to high level management, but

rather I am very comfortable with the hands on role both functionally and technically. My success record comes from

being very detail oriented and by having a strong business and IT background. The most current PeopleSoft version I

have worked on is version 9.0.

• Capella University – Financial Business Analyst 04/09-current

The requirements for this project are to analyze, design and implement a process for students to use their anticipated

Financial Aid at a third party bookstore, MBS, to purchase textbooks and process payment through PeopleSoft AP.

This involves an interface between Student Financials, for calculations of anticipated aid, and MBS and an interface

from MBS to Student Financials and AP.

• SpearMC – Sr. PO and AP SME vs. 9.0 12/08-01/09

The requirements for this project were to build test data for the PO and AP system to be used by a data warehouse

system, Teradata.

• Dot Foods – Project Manager vs. 8.8 03/08-10/08

The requirements for this project were to design and implement an interface between supply/demand system and

PeopleSoft Purchasing in order to implement matching and receipt accrual processing in AP. My responsibilities were

to lead the analysis and design of the interface and to lead/participate in implementation of new functionality in AP and

Purchasing.

• Capella University – Student Financials Business Analyst vs. 8.9 10/07-12/07

This project included a large variety of tasks all related to the Student Financials module. My tasks include UPK

development, defect resolution, query development, bundle testing, validating customizations, creating training data

conversion validation.

• SPRINT – Conversion Lead AP vs. 8.9 11/06 - 08/07

My responsibilities included the planning and implementing of the conversion of the AP modules from Nextel (Oracle)

and Sprint (DB2) version 8.4 to a consolidated 8.9 version on an Oracle platform. This entailed the mapping of data

from custom and delivered tables and preparing SQL scripts for validation as well as reporting daily status to

management. This role was more technical than functional in comparison to the majority of my previous work.

• 3M – Functional Lead AP and PO vs. 8.8 04/05 - 11/06

This project was an upgrade from 8.4 to 8.8 by re-implentation of the software. My responsibilities included designing

and implementing a custom Approval workflow process for eProcurement and AP which included the writing of

specifications, documentation, test plans and training material. After implementation, I began supporting AP and PO.

A large portion of my daily workload included debugging the matching process and some conversion issues.

Participated in the testing and implementation of multiple maintenance pack upgrades to AP and PO.

• Open Solutions Inc. – Functional Lead, AP and PO vs. 8.8 09/04 - 12/04

PeopleSoft was retained by this customer to do the implementation of 9 modules. Responsibilities included Fit/Gap

analysis for AP and PO. From the analysis a scope document and configuration document were created. Worked with

users to configure and prototype the system. Responsible for driving the system testing effort. Due to client

constraints, consulting effort was limited to this initial effort of the implementation.

• University of Florida –Functional Lead, AP vs. 8.44 01/03 - 07/04

Worked on the ‘Vendor Relations’ team which consisted of AP, PO and Travel and Expense. Responsible for Fit/Gap

analysis on AP implementation as well as working with Purchasing, Asset Management, General Ledger, Project

Costing and Payroll as they interfaced with AP. Based upon analysis, prepared detail project plan. Documented

current and future state of processes, configuration documentation, functional specifications for customizations and

workflow. Prepared mapping documents for conversion of vendors and vouchers. Prepared and performed

prototyping sessions with key users. Documented the re-engineering requirements for new implementation. Regularly

met with user group and upper management to provide update and status of project. Worked on upgrade of software,

testing and review. Provided hands on instruction and knowledge transfer to university employees. Worked on various

technical debugging issues as well as developed queries for research and reporting.

• Univ of Florida, Florida State, Florida A & M –Functional Lead, AP, PO vs. 8.40 09/02 - 10/02

Responsible for conference room pilot for Peoplesoft AP and PO version 8.4 for this consortium of universities. This

effort included high level Fit/Gap effort and extensive prototyping of this public sector version. Responsible for

preparation of formal analysis documents and project plan for the three universities.

• Standard Register Co –Functional Lead AP, PO, GL, AM, PC, Budgets vs. 8.40 07/02–08/02

Responsible for assessment of 8.4 functionality for AP, PO, GL, AM, Projects, and Budgets in comparison to their

current 7.5 environment. Did high level Fit/Gap analysis. Analyzed their current system and processes to determine

how the 8.4 upgrade would impact their current user processes and the impact of re-engineering of those processes.

Developed recommendation for upgrade and process re-engineering identifying time requirements and method for

effort.

• New York Workers Comp Board –Project Manager, AP, AR, AM vs. 7.02 04/01 - 05/02

Responsible for project management of the implementation of the second and third phase of the Public Sector financial

project. Besides the development of custom modules, the implementation included AP, AR and AM. My role included

management of 8 consultants and 2 state employees. The work included analysis, design, documentation,

programming, testing, conversion and implementation, with follow up support.

• Lockheed – Martin –Functional Lead, GL, Project Costing, Contracts vs. 8.0 9/00 - 1/01

Responsible for Fit/Gap analysis for implementation of version 8.0 of Peoplesoft General Ledger, Project Costing, and

Contracts. Client's current version was 7.0 with a great deal of customization to their Projects module as well as the

General Ledger. My responsibilities included analyzing the new 8.0 version of Peoplesoft for multiple modules, meeting

with users to gain detail information of the current system processes and preparing a fit/gap document.

• Corrigo, Inc. –Project Manager, GL, AP, AR, PO vs. 7.5 6/00 - 8/00

Responsible for implementation of a Peoplesoft Select client. This included complete configuration, conversion of data,

training users, testing, and reporting for GL, AP, PO and AR.

• Toyota –Functional Lead, GL vs. 7.5 4/00 - 5/00

Responsible for working with the Accounting department in the effort to provide the company with an improved financial

close process. The goal was to shorten the close time each month to a 'virtual close' of 1 to 2 days. Also responsible

for backfilling for the system support team. Began the effort only to find that financing could not be approved and the

project was put on hold.

• US West –Functional Lead, A/P vs. 7.5 9/99 - 12/99

Responsible for working with the user community of nine unique business units to determine the Fit/Gap concerning

the implementation of PeopleSoft A/P 7.5. This involved interviewing and documenting business requirements and

identifying the instances of gaps between the process and the vanilla A/P package.

Wendy’s Int'l –Functional Lead, G/L, A/P, P/O, and PC vs. 7.0, 7.5 7/98 - 8/99

Responsible for project planning for implementation of PeopleSoft G/L, A/P, Purchasing, and Project Costing.

Participated in ‘Brown Bag’ process flow analysis as part of Fit/Gap activity. Analyzed and documented ‘as is’ and

‘future state’ processes with accounting and procurement users. Worked on system prototyping and defining project

scope. Analyzed and designed new development for store profile data tracking. Responsible for project management

of G/L and backup resource on PO and AP, as well as hands on participation functionally and technically. Provided

functional and technical support for upgrade from version 7.0 to version 7.5

• VOCA/Educare –Project Manager, G/L, A/P, and Budget vs. 7.0 2/98 - 6/98

Responsible for Fit/Gap analysis for implementation of PeopleSoft G/L, A/P and Budgeting 7.0 for this company which

maintains homes for the mentally handicapped. Developed project plans, and worked through modeling/prototyping of

G/L and A/P. Responsible for working with the users in building the G/L and A/P system tables. Worked with the

PeopleTools to convert new chartfield tables. Responsible for management of user and technical staff in

implementation effort, as well as analysis and design effort.

• Norwegian Cruise Line – Functional Lead, PO and A/P vs. 5.12 6/97 - 12/97

Responsibilities included working on the implementation team for PeopleSoft Purchasing and Accounts Payable. The

implementation effort was started on an Oracle database, but shortly after arriving, it was moved to DB2. Worked as

liaison between Purchasing and A/P users and EDS, who were responsible for the technical issues. Responsible for

coordinating the implementation effort. This included reviewing and setting up the basic system tables, testing all

modifications in Oracle and DB2, training, and general support. Managed the effort for resolving their open issues.

Prepared and managed the project plan. Prepared detail implementation plan. Worked with the users in resolving

system problems, and database issues. Reported to upper management current status.

• Portland Metro –Project Manager, G/L, A/P, A/R, Billing, and PO vs. 5 7/96 - 5/97

Prepared Fit/Gap analysis documentation for implementation of GL, AP, PO, Billing and AR modules for this public

sector agency. Analyzed and documented client requested modification specifications. Prepared system and user test

plans. Responsible for the preparation of the project plan as well as overall project management. Worked with users in

setting up tables, designing modification documents, and prototyping the systems and re-engineering current

processes. Worked with technical resources in data mapping and conversion.

• HealthSouth –Functional Lead, G/L, A/P, Purchasing, Inventory vs. 3 and 4 10/95 - 6/96

Participated in two phases of system implementation including Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Purchasing, and

Inventory. Responsibilities included system design, system modification, report design and development, system and

user test plan development. Coordinated the implementation effort including preparing the implementation plan and

overseeing the database environments. Prepared technical documentation, change management and production

database management documentation and functional test plan.

• Mapco - Functional Lead, Human Resource / Payroll vs. 4.1 7/95 - 10/95

Assisted in the design and implementation of Human Resources system. Prepared Fit/Gap for this Human Resources

and Payroll implementation. Developed design documents for system modifications. Prepared conversion plan and

participated in project management through design phase.

• Quantum - Project Manager, Human Resource 3.0 and 4.1 2/94 - 5/95

Project managed the conversion from First Resource Human Resource system and implementation of the PeopleSoft

Human Resources system. Responsible for preparation of project plan based upon a detail gap analysis. Tasks for

the project included setting up the system tables and managing the data mapping from First Resource database.

Managed and participated in the analysis and development of system modifications.
