I have 31 years experience working in various manufacturing facilities producing Digital Audio and

Digital Video Discs, Packaging Food Products, manufacturing Antistatic and Antibacterial Fibers as well

as manufacturing Chocolate confectionaries. My duties and responsibilities over the past 31 years have

varied greatly. My experience includes working as a Process Operator, Process Technician, Department

natural gas consumption.

• Implemented new chemical technology for cleaning parts before powder coating.

natural gas consumption. Resulted in $18,000.00 yearly cost savings.

Lead a two - shift staff of 40 + employees in painting metal Display and Scan Hooks for the

retail industry. My responsibilities include overall dept. scheduling, quality, maintenance,

safety, waste water analysis monitoring, and manning, as well as raw materials and Labor

budget control. Performed maintenance tasks and analyzed equipment problems.

Chocolates

Lead and coach a staff of 119 employees in the manufacture of

chocolate confectionaries. My responsibilities include; Hiring/Firing, maintaining the

production schedule, Budget control, Safety program facilitation, Process and product

Quality maintenance and control, GMP’s & HACCP Programs, Performance Management,

Leadership, Training, Maintenance and Inventory Management. Lead the production staff in

implementing Lean Manufacturing Principles to target waste and remove non-value added

activities from the production processes.

08/01/04 to 08/30/05: 2 Shift Plant Production Manager, Nobel Bio-Materials

My responsibilities were to lead and support all production processes and staff in the

manufacture of Metallized Fibers and substrates for sale in the Electrostatic and

Antibacterial markets. My duties included, maintaining the production schedule, training and

coaching the 2nd shift staff. My duties also include quality assurance, process monitoring

and control. I was also a member of the organizations ISO 9000 quality audit team

03/01/04 to 07/30/04: Packaging Manager, Kane Warehouse

Lead a two shift Production Staff in the packaging of goods for the

Quaker Oats customer account. Responsibilities include staffing, production goal setting,

inventory control, production planning / scheduling, Customer Service and all aspects of

Quality Planning and Control. Troubleshoot equipment problems.

1997-2004 WEA 10 Point Quality Program Developer, WEA Manufacturing

Lead and facilitate company quality program within the organization. Lead Project Teams,

Audit Plants, and Trained employees in Quality Tools and concepts. Developed courses for

Project Management, and Leader / Facilitator training. Prepared Semi – Annual Progress

Reports for Management Team. Perform statistical measurement studies. Additional

responsibilities included Manager of CD Screen and Stamper Support

Technical/Maintenance Staff. Additional duties included managing the Central Chemical

Staff and Processes.

1996-1997 Pre Press Support Dept. Manager, WEA Manufacturing

Lead and coached a staff of 50 employees that prepared and supplied Films, Proofs,

Printing Screens, Plates and Inks to the CD and DVD manufacturing Plants. Prepared

Manning, Operational and Capital Budgets. Evaluated area process segments for

improvement opportunities. Day-to-Day contact with customers to resolve issues

concerning their work requirements. Developed and implemented a process for cleaning

CD Screen Frames as well a process for washing out and drying exposed screens.

1996-1996 Process Quality Developer – CD ROM Plant, WEA Manufacturing

Evaluated Plant production processes for improvements in cycle time, yield, waste, uptime

and performance to schedule using statistical studies. Trained and mentored Plant Process

Coaches. Managed projects, evaluated and analyzed process problems to final resolution.

Implement Plant quality guidelines and necessary. Create and update Plant SOP’s and

GMP’s as required.

1995-1996 Process Coach – Quick Response CD Plant, WEA Manufacturing

Coached and supported cellular manufacturing production teams (Injection-Molding,

Printing & Packaging) towards accomplishing their performance measures and meeting

production demands. Managed projects and facilitated continuous improvement teams.

Implement Quality guidelines and resolve customer issues.

1988-1995 Manager – Optical Media Mastering, WEA Manufacturing

Lead and coached a staff of 45 production and technical operators. Prepared Manning,

Operational and Capital Budgets. Recommended and purchased capital equipment.

Reduced cost of each manufactured unit by 0.01 by developing and implementing a CD

Glass reclaim process. Evaluated mastering process for improvement opportunities.

Implemented Statistical Process Control in all mastering processes. Trained and facilitated

production improvement teams in WEA‘s first Continuous Improvement Program PDS.

Establish and implement Quality Guidelines and work closely with customers to coordinate

and resolve quality issues.

1986-1988 Mastering Technician – Optical Media Mastering, WEA Manufacturing

Operated and maintained CD Mastering production equipment. Hired and trained new

Operators. Assisted in planning and building of a Class 10,000 Clean room manufacturing

environment for production. Spent 1 month in the Netherlands to train on and commission

CD Mastering production equipment.

Operated stamper electroforming and finishing equipment. Preformed specialized

troubleshooting work on Lacquers, Nickel Fathers and Mothers for Pre Production QC.
