• Manage all operations of the Indiana facility with 17 salary staff positions.
• Responsibilities include; P&L, customer relations and service, sales growth, facility fiscal
budget, capital projects and justification, employee and Union relations, and all internal
facility operations.
• Introduced Lean Techniques and new methods to improve operations in the facility along
with techniques from 6 Sigma training, 5-S, TPM, and World Class Manufacturing.
• Results:
o Increased plant’s margin and cash flow over previous year’s performance and
exceeded budgeted EBITDA.
o Lean manufacturing techniques implemented for improved product reliability and
lower unit cost.
o Safety incidents reduced 100%. Earned the prestigious President’s Safety Award
in 2004, tied for top honors in 2006, and earned the President’s Safety Award in
