Adecco Wausau, WI (December 2000-October 2004)
Branch Manager
• Recruited into company to establish and open a new branch office. Duties included
directing sales, day-to-day operations, staff training and development and payroll.
• Held weekly staff meetings, set office goals and quotas, and quarterly projections.
• Handled all office workman’s compensation claims for submittal to insurance carrier and
unemployment.
• Managed budgets and P & L’s for branch as well as on-site locations.
• Responsible for recruitment of temporary employees, skilled trades, and professional/
executive level type candidates for various clients.
• Sold a regional account (April 2004) with Fiskars Manufacturing to include 2 branch
offices. Main business was seasonal for 4 months but hired up to 100 people for the
Wausau Branch.
• Received “Superstar Status Award” (January 2004) for sales growth and profitability
in 2003. My branch ranked in the top 10% nationally for growth.
• Recognized by Central Division (November 2003) for 24 consecutive months of
maintaining a profitable branch office.
• Recognized by Central Division (November 2003) for branch profitability due to Direct
Hire business and separation fees obtained.
• Received Adecco “Superstar Award” trip to Puerto Rico (January 2003). The award was
given to selling Branch Managers who had the highest sales growth and profitability
over prior year and were in the top 10% of the company nationally.
• Recognized (January 2002) for maintaining profitability through Direct Hire business.
Was top performing branch in Wisconsin. Focused on both direct hire and separation
fees. Branch sales were approximately $270,000.00 in direct hire billings for the year.
• Received Adecco “Superstar Award” (January 2002) and trip to Tucson, AZ. Award
was given to Branch Managers whose sales and profitability were in the top 10% in the
company for a new Branch.
• Sold national account (September 2001), Weathershield Manufacturing, which included
on-site offices in Medford and Ladysmith, Wisconsin, Logan, UT and Atlanta, GA.
Implementation included establishing on-site perimeters, pricing and hiring on on-site
managers. Account was projected at $20,000,000.00 per year.
• Opened Wausau Branch (December 2000) to service one national account, Liberty
Mutual. Transferred approximately 80 associates to my branch payroll from another
staffing service. Worked with corporate office to locate a branch office, assisted to make
sure build out was done according to corporate specifications, set up office equipment
and furniture.
