Leader of supply chain function for a developing fab-less semiconductor company encompassing short
& long term demand planning, supplier scheduling, inventory management/reporting, logistics and data
management
Process owner for Serus Operations Management software covering inventory management, supplier
integration, order entry / order fulfillment, purchase orders and invoicing. Increased financial reporting
integrity of company through system implementation and report development.
Developed planning and forecasting application using MS Access and Visual Basic and used the
application with the operations team for scheduling / forecasting suppliers as well as committing to orders.
Had both forward and backward scheduling functionality with bottlenecks and shortfall reports.
Responsible for company inventory tracking and management including writing visual basic scripts to
produce html reporting system. Also Led kaizen / 5s style event to consolidate two inventory rooms into one
by reconfiguring the shelves, cleaning up unneeded items, and better utilizing vertical space
Data owner for internal MES system for inventory management, on site testing, and data collection.
Included working with software provider (Cold Cypress) on changes to the software and administrating the

Developing engineering data collection process and data architecture in PostgreSQL with the
manufacturing organization including product traceability and audit to the lot / wafer / order level by
manufacturing stage and the associated build parameters
Documented internal business processes for planning, scheduling, shipping / receiving and supply
chain / enterprise software systems. Admin for Knowledge Tree document management software (open
source, DMS) for operations which managed / controlled all company documentation.
Admin for Business Process Maker software (open source, BPM). Created Business Process Maker
flow to manage sample order request process involving 10 people, 14 process steps, auto email notifications,
and data capturing to optimize and control the process historically done through email and verbal
communication.
ON Semiconductor - Phoenix, AZ (07/99 – 07/08)
Industrial Engineering Manager, Global Operations (12/07 – 07/08)
Project leader (Product Manager Role under Microsoft Framework for IT) for the manufacturing
enablement portion of the ON Semiconductor / AMI Semiconductor merger and subsequent integration project
(started March 2008). Responsible for developing a sound business process to enable cross manufacturing
flows between the two entities in the combined company. Also included implementing a sub-contractor /
foundry process for the combined company to enable B2B sharing of engineering specs, demands and
commits as well as a data exchange process to feed transactional data from the AMI sites and external
partners back to ON Semiconductor inventory / financial systems
Led LSS Black Belt Project to revamp business process for wafer substrate raw material ordering.
Project included working with global factory team from eight locations, substrate growers (internal and
external) and corporate supply management on business process for ordering, disposition, and obsolescence
of inventory. Developed Kanban model prototype / pilot application in MS Access and Visual Basic. Initiative
has reduced inventory $4.5m to date for the company
Worked on manufacturing capacity modeling initiative with three assembly / test factories to
standardize model and data structures to allow cross reference among factories, efficient scenario evaluation,
and identification of opportunities for asset reallocation and potential connectivity to corporate planning
solutions
Set direction for world wide Industrial Engineering teams at all manufacturing locations including
training, expectations, knowledgebase, best practices and corporate integration
Zener-Rectifier Wafer FAB Business Manager (8/06 – 12/07)
Led FAB Planning, CIM (IT) and Industrial Engineering Departments with 5 team members for 6”
discrete wafer fabrication site producing 10k to 15k wafer starts per week of Zeners, Rectifiers, Bipolars,
Schottky, Ultrafast technologies and partial flows (2800 active devices for FAB)
Worked with manufacturing team to design, develop and implement WIP management system. Wrote
prototype system using MS Access and MS Excel as first LSS Black Belt project saving the factory $535k in
inventory (cycle time) reduction and headcount right-sizing. Worked on corporate rollout team with IT to
develop process into worldwide WIP Management solution for all ON wafer sites
Developed manufacturing (headcount / high level fab direction) model and equipment / device level
FAB static capacity model using MS Access and MS Excel. Utilized models with Fab Manager and
Manufacturing Manager to drive headcount / staffing, capacity declaration, and equipment decisions
CIM team activities included sustaining site MES, documenting MES rules, and implementing MES
changes including FAB lot priorities structure and rules, probe structure during corporate change of probe
supply chain strategy, and corporate MES standards. Team also put together a database / analysis training
course for FAB indirect support
Planning team activities included factory substrate (raw wafer) and wafer starts planning, priority
(expedite) lot execution, and WIP movement. Worked with team on initiatives including smaller lot size pilot
program, priority lot rules, and quotation of data to corporate planning systems (yield, cycle time, capacity
data, commits, substrate management)
Participated on corporate team to design and implement new cycle time and yield quotation process
along with FAB WIP projection to company planning systems
Manufacturing Business Process and Data Manager (2/05 – 8/06)
Performed business process and systems integration role for worldwide manufacturing planning &
infrastructure group covering 45 internal/subcon/foundry/jv sites (assembly, test, FAB, probe, substrates)
Developed measurement tools and processes for factory on time delivery and capacity expansion
program execution that made up 40% of the global manufacturing bonus in 2006
Worked on key factory system integration initiatives. Led system integration of Flip Chip Inc. (Bump
