customer satisfaction.
• Saved $560K in the areas of rent, inventory and transportation costs by initiating a cross-dock
program.

Project Manager leading a key initiative for the company’s Logistics Team.

Responsible for the operational improvement of 6 Parts Distribution Centers with a $23M operating budget, $40M of
service parts inventory, 6M SKU’s and over 700K sq. ft. of distribution and warehousing space. Supported 9,000 Service
Repair Technicians to ensure the highest level of service metrics are achieved.
• Recovered $1.6M in parts as Project Manager for a Reverse Flow system integrating it into
the ERP system.
• Improved order fill rate from 91% to 97% by collaborating with Sourcing, Parts Vendors and
Logistics, thus improving the process flow to make parts available sooner for technicians.
• Improved service rating by 10% by collaborating with Home Delivery Appliance Business
Unit.
• Increased inventory turns 15% by analyzing SKU usage to rationalize and develop forecasts
and sales planning by geographic location.
USF LOGISTICS (Samsung Electronics Account) – Bolingbrook, IL 2000 – 2005
Distribution Center Manager
Responsible for the start-up of a new account for a 500K sq. ft. Distribution Center dedicated to Samsung Consumer
Electronics. Managed all Supply Chain functions with up to 120 employees. Responsible for an annual operating budget
of over $10M.
• Strategic sourcing of transportation and Distribution Center resources, equipment and materials for the start-up.
• Represented USF Logistics as the Key Point of Contact for relationship management with Samsung Electronics.
• Increased revenue by $435K over a 2-year period by developing new value added business opportunities.
• Maintained inventory accuracy of 99.94% based on a total inventory value of $60M.

excess of $17MM. Managed the relationships between the Solo Cup functional departments of and 3PL providers.

• Determined alternate supply networks and sourcing solutions to lower the cost of delivery by $310K.

The Minute Maid Company. Responsible for throughput of $14MM, developed annual operating budgets of $3MM.
• Reduced costs by 7% through a network analysis identifying continuous move and load consolidations.
• Facility chosen to implement best practice initiatives for Direct Store Delivery (DSD) supply
chain/distribution/fleet activities.
• Developed new business opportunities which increase revenue by $235K over a two-year period.
• Increased Inventory accuracy from 96% to 99% and productivity from 19 pallets per hour to 22 pallets per hour.
