Present
Senior Project Manager – Currently managing several projects ranging from $50,000 to $3,000,000.
• Currently Engineering Design Lead on multi-phase, multi-discipline project involving the cut-off of DNAPL
migration into a creek and removal of DNAPL-impacted sediments over 1200-foot length of creek. Design
work has included groundwater modeling and treatability study to develop a cost–effective remediation.
• Design lead on product recovery from an industrial wastewater stream. Project included treatability study of
the mixed stream and turnkey cost estimate for design, installation and start-up of the new system.
• Design lead and management of a Free Product Recovery system at an oil refinery. Prepared the detail system
design and oversaw installation; system recovered 1,500 gallons per week of free product.
• Prepared proposals and managed the installation of Air Sparge and Soil Vapor Extraction Systems at UST
sites in Georgia and Florida.
• Managed the clean-up and closure of a Brownfield Redevelopment project in Downtown Atlanta; impacted
soil removal and disposal work was completed in one week and met the client’s fast-track schedule for closure.
• Managing a RCRA program at operating chemical facility in Florida, this includes overseeing active remedial
systems and conducting quarterly monitoring events. Consulted on update of the RCRA permit and received no
further action for several old permitted units.
• Design and oversaw of In-Situ Chemical Oxidation event for site in South Carolina to reduce groundwater
contamination to meet state regulatory standards.
• Developed plans and oversaw excavation of RCRA sludge-holding pond. Developed regulatory strategy and
performed engineering plans for removal and disposal of contaminated sediments
• Ongoing Business Development with existing and new industrial clients, have established new clients through
existing associations and calling on industrial facilities near existing offices and project sites.
Self Employed - Environmental Consulting
2004
Contract consultant on clean up of an old railroad site in Savannah, GA.
• Prepared Site Investigation Report that included tables and maps of over 600 sample locations.
• Prepared design drawings for the Corrective Action Plan and developed the Type 5 RRS (under GA HSRA) for
contaminated soils at an elementary school. The Type 5 work evaluated potential technologies and presented
the technical impractibility section accepted by the Georgia EPD.

• Was an Onsite Consultant for CSX during the 4-month field clean up of this high profile project; Excavation
of over 70,000 tons of impacted soil and restoration of the site under a tight schedule in order to meet the start
of the school year.

Business Development Manager –Business development manager for a 40-person office of one of the largest
environmental consulting companies in the country. Primary responsibility was research regional market
opportunities and develop potential commercial and industrial clients. Also was a national lead for the MGP
program that identified and proposed on specific MGP opportunities across the country and promoting company
technology capabilities to clients and state agencies.
The Retec Group (AECOM), Atlanta, Georgia
1998-2003
Engineering Manager and Senior Project Manager that established a high standard of quality and client
satisfaction for the Atlanta Gas Light Company Manufactured Gas Plant (MGP) sites in Georgia. This level of
excellence led to the award of a 5-year, $140 million outsourcing contract.
• Was Project Manager on six sites to complete remediation worth over $40 million in environmental work.
• Most notably, the investigation and clean up of the $13 million AGLC Macon MGP in less than 3 years. This
site had the first non-numeric Type 5 RRS CAP in the Georgia HSRA program, which included a treatability
study and pilot test to demonstrate effectiveness of in-situ solidification of coal tar.
• Managed community relations and state regulatory agency negotiations.
• Direct Report Manager for a staff of five engineers; also mentored several other engineers as Project Manager.
Law Engineering and Environmental Services (MACTEC), Kennesaw, Georgia 1992-1997
Joined as a Staff Engineer and promoted to Senior Project Manager on numerous Corps of Engineers and AFCEE
sites totaling over $15 million in projects.
• 400 gpm jet fuel and groundwater recovery & treatment system that utilized horizontal trenching. Managed
the design, construction oversight and the O&M on this system over a 3 year period
• Led engineering design of Superfund Site along Delaware River, site had over 50,000 tons of metal plating
waste. Managed treatability studies and Pilot Tests for selection of remediation technologies and prepared the
detail design specifications and drawings for construction bid.

Project Engineer for design of large pipeline systems for municipal water systems.
Harry Pepper & Associates, Macon, Georgia 1988-1989
Project Engineer on a $5 million expansion of a 75 MGD wastewater treatment plant.
