Senior Director of Business Development, Latin America/Caribbean (2004 – Present)

Lead a department consisting of over 1000 restaurants and $1B in annual sales. Aggressively expand international brand

presence; screen and select prospective franchisees throughout the region, map new and existing markets and plan long-

term restaurant growth. Lead site selection process, increasing restaurant openings. Work with prospective and existing

franchisees to develop business plans for international markets to ensure profitable and timely brand growth. Negotiation

of development agreements, target reservation agreements, and franchise agreements. Coordinate the activities of eight

franchise groups and company operations in Mexico with over 400 restaurants in the market.

Associate General Counsel (2000 – 2006)

Key member of the Latin America / Caribbean Board of Directors. Handled highly complex transactions in politically and

economically unstable and diverse emerging markets. Supervised a diverse multifunctional team, including International

Development Managers, Real Estate and Franchising Managers, as well as corporate attorneys.

Grew brand presence and restaurants from 300 to 1100 restaurants.

Led and designed brand growth strategy globally by working with new business teams.

Directed the Burger King System entry into Brazil including developing a five-year growth plan involving the
