Role: TIBCO ActiveMatrix Adapter Anchor.

Description: TIBCO's solutions help enterprises achieve SOA success by enabling them to

more easily and effectively create, deploy, and manage services across their distributed and

diverse IT infrastructure and global organization with flexibility and performance scalability.

TIBCO Adapters provide an easy-to-use, robust solution for connecting to all the corporate

assets, including packaged applications, custom apps, databases, and other technologies.

These OTS Adapters provide connectivity with a wide range of technologies such as SAP

R/3, Siebel, PeopleSoft, Oracle E-Business Suite, Salesforce.com, Lotus Notes, SWIFT,

Kenan/BP, Portal Infranet, Clarify, Oracle, SQL Server, Sybase, Teradata, DB2 UDB for

Unix, DB2 for z/OS, DB2 for i5/OS, CICS, IMS, DB2, VSAM, dataset files for z/OS and

RPG program objects, Data Queues, SPOOL files for i5/OS, EJB, Files, LDAP, MQSeries,

GLOBAL BACK OFFICE F&O

Client: BP Oil International (Integrated Supply and Trading (IST) - Gas and OIL, Europe)

Duration / Location: 24 months at London, UK

Role: Project Integration Lead

Description: BP has a group of traders who trade on the Futures and Options exchanges and

this project is to upgrade the front & back office systems that support this business. F&O is

part of the Global Back-Office Programme (GBOP) a collection of initiatives to upgrade IST

systems. The team has replaced the legacy MOBO system with OpenLink Endur application.

The Integration team has implemented Application Interfaces and Business Processes / Rules

using TIBCO Suite b/w OBMS (Front Office), ClearVision (Mid Office) and OpenLink

Endur (Front Office, Back Office) for the Exchange Traded Futures, Options and the Back

Office deals. The Business drivers were: The non-scalable legacy MOBO application had

significant business risk around back office processes with manual interventions which varied

across geographical regions. Benefits with the cost and time requirements by delivering

compliant and non-compliant interfaces. Facilitating administration of new and existing

instruments and incorporating streamlined, global processes with a greater degree of straight

through processing with advanced BPM workflow processes and monitoring.

ONE NGL (NATURAL GAS LIQUIDS)

Client: BP Oil International (North America Gas and Power)

Duration: 8 months at Bangalore, India

Role: Solution Designer and Offshore Team Lead

Description: The scope of the project was to implement TIBCO interfaces that allow

real-time data flows for NGL trades (Forward Mix, Swaps, Swaptions) from Epsilon

deal capture system to SAP (Back Office), eliminating existing manual procedure of

printing trades from Epsilon and re-entering into SAP. The project also implemented

an interface to get the price feeds from the Asset Control Interface application. The

business drivers are to reduce costs involved and to improve control and compliance.

INTEGRATION LAYER (IST IL) - CORE PRODUCT

Client: BP Oil International

Duration: 15 months at Bangalore, India

Role: Software Module Development Lead and Offshore Coordinator

Description: The IST IL has been developed as a message based integration platform

using TIBCO components as the core technology to support the integration needs of

BP IST. It is an enterprise-wide initiative, which is used to integrate disparate systems

across various RBUs within BP, and provide a common understanding of the

information held by these localized sources. The scope of the project was to enhance the

existing Integration Layer core product and to develop new modules to integrate the various

applications within BP. The core product itself was built on the Java platform with J2EE

MVC2 technology and by implementing the TIBCO API wherever necessary.

TAM APPLICATION MIGRATION

Client: Fidelity Capital

Duration: 8 months at Hyderabad, India

Role: Programmer Analyst

Description: The Tax and Asset Management Application was one of the Fidelity Capital’s

legacy applications written in C. During the Dot Com period, as the number of clients

increased multifold after Fidelity exposed a variety of Instruments for online assessment and

management, the legacy C based application could not scale up and neither was it extensible

to accommodate the rapid changing face of Capital Markets and Investment Strategy. Hence

was a requirement to migrate the application to a robust, scalable and extensible architecture

implemented with Java EE technology.

ICU UPGRADE AND PATIENT MONITORING SYSTEM

Client: Amruta Hospitals

Duration: 6 months at Hyderabad, India

Role: Research Trainee and Programmer

Description: In the first phase, this project comprised of a fast paced research and analysis of

modern ICU equipment with the objective of providing bedside monitoring of patient data.

The second phase comprised of ICU upgrade for the Cardiac Care Unit and building the

BIMS (Bedside Integrated Monitoring System) for the patients in the ICU using Java, AWT

and SQL Server database facilitating the integration with CIS in the future.
