Responsible for creating and implementing the strategic Information Technology initiatives of the $1.2 billion business
unit for US and Asian operations. Authorized all technology expenditures, budgets and staff to maintain, support and

Headed the transition, implementation and deployment of an $8 million project to migrate from in -house
developed legacy applications to a new technology platform and complete ERP system (J D Edwards/Oracle) with

Managed a multi-national IT support and development team to allowed for seamless daily support for all IT
systems for all business units in the US and Asia. Overall IT cost were reduced by 68 % when compared to a US
only based department
Pioneered and coordinated the development and conversion to internet based (B2B ecommerce) supply chain
systems for restaurant order submittal, eliminating a labor intense, paper based system and allowing the managers
to submit orders later in the day or week when more was known about product movement and promotions
Led the selection and installation of a manufacturing system to track product ingredients, process times and labor
for the food manufacturing business unit. This system allowed management to determine the manufacturing cost
and profit margin for each product by comparing the standards for raw materials and labor to actual usage
Assembled and managed a matrix team that consisted of internal user, customers and IT staff to develop an
application for McDonalds US distribution that forecasted daily product requirements and transmitted these
requirements to the vendors as just-in-time (JIT) purchase orders. This reduced daily inventories in each
distribution center by 18%, allowing fresher product to be delivered to the restaurants and increasing cash flow
Analyzed the technologies for an acquisition of a multi - million dollar distribution company and managed the
migration of all the systems to meet the corporate standards once acquired
Negotiated a software agreement with J D Edwards to allow all of The HAVI Group LP global business units to
implement their Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. This standardized the main support application for
product distribution globally and resulted in a $9M savings to The HAVI Group LP
Created a capital expenditures application to establish, authorize and track capital project progress and cost. This
application reduced the authorization time to a seven day from the prior 30 plus days in the paper process.
Additionally, it allowed management to receive early warnings whe n projects were starting to not meet their time
lines or exceed the authorized funding amounts.

A $500 Million publicly traded international distributor of 45,000 maintenance, chemical and welding supplies with 4
companies and 6 distribution centers to service 1,675 sales agents and 250,000 customers.

Recruited by the CEO to shape the direction of future Information Technology and Graphic Arts strategies and
investments. Responsible for daily management of the support staffs, reviewing and a uthorizing all projects,
investments and expenses for both IT and Graphic Arts. Collaborated with internal department mangers, sales agents
and clients to assure IT and Graphic Arts met their strategic requirements. Reported to CEO/Chairman of the Board.
Managed IT and Graphic Arts departments with $1 8 million plus annual budget.

Developed and supported PC-based field sales force automation application with order entry process including
barcode scanning, customer tracking, order transmission and order status. Reduced customer service department

Spearheaded 2-year, $1.4 million project to create an innovative PC-based multimedia catalog application, allowing
access to full product line with video demonstrations, voice information and material safety data sheets in several
