Configuration Management Specialist
Lead SCM activities for merger between NASD and NYSE regulatory organizations to ensured integrity of
application source files and to standardize the build processes. Languages consisted of PowerBuilder 6.5, 7, and
8; Java 1.3.1 and 1.4.2; as well 1.1.
Performed CM activities for several merger related projects. Activities consisted of automating builds, unit tests,
coverage reports, and deployments using CruiseControl, Ant, Perl, Shell scripts, and BladeLogic
Supported the building and deployment of J2EE applications and SQL packages.
Designed and created client / server scripts using Perl to perform automatic deployments of WebLogic
applications.
W rote script, using Perl, to process a custom Finra report for use in a custom workflow management application.
Created Mashup prototype to demonstrate Serena capabilities to Finra
Provided support of StarTeam to development teams.

Software Configuration Management (SCM) Manager (Jul 2007 – Dec 2007)
Responsible for SCM team, and complete day to day operations including design, development, and
implementation of Serena suite of tools, automated builds, workflows, code management policies, release
schedules, and documentation.
Managed integrated environment consisting of Mainframe, VMS, and UNIX processes and applications
Responsible for all upgrades and maintenance of SCM applications including Serena application suite
W orked with application development engineers, system architects, quality assurance analysts, systems
administrators, production support engineers, end users, and project managers to implement policies and
procedures such as automated builds and code management policies.
Version Control Team Lead (Mar 2001 – Jul 2007)
Installed and managed Serena TeamTrack with Apache on the Solaris platform for change and process
management.
Designed and developed new workflows in Serena TeamTrack to support change process for the UNIX, VMS, and
mainframe platforms. Also created workflows to manage support requests.
Created custom scripts in TeamTrack (change management tool) for managing the approval process, integration
with Service Desk, and notifications.
Installed and configured releases of Serena PVCS Version Manager on the Solaris platform. PVCS was
configured with Apache for web support and also setup to utilize split archive functionality and cross -platform
support.
Designed, developed, and documented build automation policies using CruiseControl in the Solaris UNIX
environment.
Provided training for team members for multiple platforms: Mainframe, UNIX, VMS, and Windows.
Support mainframe developers using Endeavor and PAC.
Supported developers by installing and configuring Subversion and all supporting open source applications from
source packages on Solaris. Subversion was configured with Apache and LDAP.
Documented SCM standards and processes such as: 1) build, migration, and release policies; 2) approval
processes; 3) build automation; and 4) tool configuration standards.
Responsible for maintaining source repositories for multiple products and operating systems; and managing builds
and releases to multiple environments per each products software development lifecycle.
Created documentation for the build process of products on the UNIX and VMS platforms.
Created documentation for supporting Choicepoint’s customization of Serena TeamTrack.
W rote customized shell and PCLI scripts for automating builds on the UNIX platform.

Implemented a promotional model in PVCS Version Manager to facilitate the development workflow.

Converted several Visual SourceSafe repositories to PVCS Version Manager archives.

and Microsoft Visual C++. Designed autorun applications using DemoShield.
