• Designed and developed a multitude of web, web service, and console applications for
company’s IT Security team utilizing .NET Framework 1.1 & 2.0 tools, along with SQL
Server 2000, including:
o Enterprise wide security provisioning web and accompanying console applications,
which allow Progressive employees to request security roles.

• Created public facing web application (ASP.NET 2.0/SQL Server 2005) to allow users to
advertise various items for sale on radio stations web sites. Site included an administrative piece
for radio station administration.
Penske Logistics Nov, 2004 – Aug, 2006
• Created VB.NET extranet application that gives third party partners the ability to
update order information. Application interfaces with mainframe backend by way of a VB.NET
wrapper dll and Attunity Connect middleware.
• Maintained C# intranet application that makes it easier for operations personnel to
monitor active routes. Drivers use cell phone enabled application that sends and receives
messages from Java based middleware. Web site utilizes the Microsoft MapPoint web service
to show maps with the routes displayed. Modifications also include the creation of new and
updates to existing Oracle PL/SQL stored procedures.
• Created VB.NET “crisis management” intranet web site that allows upper management
to quickly determine all Penske Logistics locations affected by a natural disaster. The user
simply plots points on a map, and the application will determine all Penske locations within the
bounded polygon. Utilizes Microsoft MapPoint, Oracle, and Oracle Spatial technologies.
• Modified Java middleware application to allow for the transfer of order and route data
to/from mainframe and handheld PDA device.

• Support company’s project management/time management application. This involves
modifications to ASP.NET (VB.NET) pages as well as SQL Server 2000
tables/sequences/stored procedures.

• Modified company’s job search website to allow company’s recruiters to choose which
online job boards to export jobs to. This project required the creation of new and modifications
to existing Oracle PL/SQL stored procedures and table definitions, the creation of a new Visual
Basic COM component, and one new and several altered ASP pages.

• Designed and implemented web-based statistical modeling intranet application. Site
consists of over 20 ASP/HTML pages that are used to add/update/delete data and to create
graphical charts and reports from a SQL Server 2000 database. Site also utilizes SQL Server
2000 DTS package to load data.
Digiknow Sep, 2001 – Feb, 2002
• Created SQL Server 2000 stored procedures for permission-based marketing application.
• Modified VB COM objects and Oracle PL/SQL stored procedures for web-based survey
application’s reporting module
• Created ASP interface program for online job search engine so that third party site can seamlessly
transfer jobs. Interface program validates data, logs input, and posts jobs to backend Oracle
database.
FutureNext/VantageOne Apr, 1999 – Sep, 2001
• Member of project team that created best of breed real estate web site. Responsible for database
design, Oracle PL/SQL stored procedure creation, and SQL query datatasks.
• Supported 20 separate web sites for Fortune 500 company. This included an online job search
engine written in NetDynamics/Java with an Oracle backend that received thousands of hits per
day. Led project team that re-wrote application using an ASP/VB 6.0 COM/Oracle architecture.
In addition to designing the database, screens, and many of the components for the new application,
was also responsible for all SQL and stored procedure (PL/SQL) creation.
