Participated in start-up of green-field MDF manufacturing facility. Ranked in Panel World, as one of the most

successful start-ups of any plant of its kind.

Developed permit-required confined space entry program for Weyerhaeuser

Successful in keeping Moncure plant union free during a UPIU organization attempt.

Reduce the packaging costs on the Microboard finishing line which realized a savings of $80,000 a year

Participated in the build-out of the Microboard finishing line, which increased finish line productivity by 40% Formed and facilitated

a finishing improvement team to focus on improvements to productivity and quality.

Headed the general manager’s safety council. By focusing on behaviors related to people’s actions, awareness and attitudes

we were able to reduce our MIR by 50%. Received CPA award for most improved safety performance of 65 reporting mills.

Experience with Continuous, Multi-opening and Minde press lines on MDF and Particleboard products ranging in thickness from

1/10” to 1 1/2”.

Produced resin cost savings in excess of $500,000 through resin trials and product recipe development.

Responsible for development of a low density M2 INDPB, Moisture resistant and M3 product lines for the Carolina mill.
