Responsible for managing two rail departments,
Rail Maintenance Department, which includes supervision of
eight employees that prepped and repaired rail cars, making sure
all AAR and CN standards where being met. I also worked with
multiple vendors purchasing repair parts needed for all repair
work done on rail cars. I was also responsible for the
Rail Loading Department, which includes the supervision of
thirty employees that loaded rail cars. I maintained and planned
the daily scheduling for the loading of 800 to 1200 vehicles
daily. I was also responsible for all quality, cost, delivery, and
safety of the rail department. Recently inspected by the AAR the
audit score was 93%, June 2008. Highest score ever achieved at
WWL in five years.
