PROJECTS
GSM and UMTS Layer-1 Test Automation Framework: Enhanced the test framework and integrated it with centralized
test framework (ATF) for remote testing.
Developed the RF and Power switch box device drivers using python GPIB commands.
Performed functional and measurement testing of UMTS Layer-1 for various Black Berry platforms.
Provided improvements for error and exception handling in current framework.
Implemented timer functionality inside the Black Berry device to improve performance testing.
Seine-SP, DonauLC and DonauLV, Device Drivers and Middleware Porting: Partnered in the design and development
of the Seine-SP, Low Level Device Driver (LLDD), code for the TSP Demux (Transport Stream De-Multiplexer) module
(under MPEG-2 standard); the successor chip of TC90400 is developed by Toshiba for set top boxes. Coordinated
customization, optimization, and middleware porting of TSP LLDD code for the DonauLV SoC, the TC90400XX chip. Led
development of the Demux module for DonauLC, the TC9040XX chip, as a module lead.
Improved device driver efficiency and provided timely verification by leading the TSP Driver module
development and implementation for the DonauLV Middleware Porting Project, which involved requirement
gathering, design, development, coding TSP device drivers, White Box and Black Box testing, system test suit
coding, and debugging.
Managed the full system verification for the DonauLC chip, which included locating software bugs, reporting
details to business teams, debugging, and resolving issues with drivers, hardware and firmware.
Handled user manual documentation and documented software, design, and test case specifications.
Performed maintenance on all software products for the TSP drivers.
VIOU On Board Evaluation: Performed on-chip evaluation and report generation for the Video Out HW (VIOU), a
chip of TC90400 to display video output, tested the functionality of the Low Level Device driver to handle the VIOU
unit and to identify bugs on the firmware and hardware levels.
Text to Speech Application: Contributed to the development of the Text to Speech (TTS) application, Developed a
communication protocol for this application between host and the device platform.
Body Sensor Networks and Applications: Investigated power optimization method and published results. Reference:
