Responsible for corporate sponsorship and advertising sales for Spurs Sports &
Entertainment, consisting of the NBA San Antonio Spurs, WNBA San Antonio Silver
Stars, AHL San Antonio Rampage and the AT&T Center. Responsibilities included:
- Sold sponsorship packages consisting of a variety of multi-media elements including
television, radio, signage, print, internet/new media, promotions and more
- Managed the day-to-day operations of each account, including the management of
account coordinators and promotions coordinators.
- Worked with each corporate partner to maximize their sponsorship involvement and
return on investment
- Worked with corporate partners to ensure their Spurs advertising elements were
properly incorporated into their annual marketing campaigns
- Developed database marketing programs for several corporate partners designed to
provide sales leads and to communicate sales programs
Sponsorship highlights include:
- In nearly four years, created an account list of approximately 18 accounts worth
annual revenue of more than $2.5 million
- Signing Meritage Homes to a three-year, $1.8 million sponsorship which included
"Presenting Sponsorship of the WNBA San Antonio Silver Stars "
- Signing San Antonio Federal Credit Union to an exclusiv e six-year, $3.6 million
sponsorship providing exclusivity as the "Official Credit Union of the Spurs."
Sponsorship rights included Spurs checking, Spurs debit card and Spurs credit card
rights as well as ATM rights within the AT&T Center
- Signing Academy Sports + Outdoors to a three-year, $800,000 sponsorship which
included rights as the "Official Apparel Headquarters of the Spurs."

Responsible for the marketing campaigns for fourteen (14) Division I Roadrunner athletic
teams as well as external affairs for the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics.
Responsibilities included:
- Developed annual marketing plan for the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics.
- Creating and implementing specific promotional plans in order to promote each
athletic team. Goals of each marketing plan included increasing attendance,
increasing visibility/awareness and promoting game entertainment/fan involvement
- Purchased all advertising media for the athletic department including television, radio
and newsprint
- Created database marketing campaign designed to create mailing lists and iden tify
UTSA fans. Utilized database to create special sales opportunities, communicate with
all constituents and receive input via fan surveys
- Prepared and solicited local and national corporate sponsorship packages. List of
corporate partners included Southwestern Bell, Coca-Cola, Dodge, Diamond
Shamrock, State Farm, Whataburger and others
- Fulfillment of corporate partnerships including day-to-day implementation of
sponsorship contracts and additional cultivation for renewal purposes.
- Created/coordinated special events for the athletic department including Midnight
Madness, Walk for Women's Athletics, Student-Athlete Annual Banquet, Roadrunner
club luncheons and other events for various constituents

one (21) Division I intercollegiate athletic teams. Responsibilities included:
- Prepared and solicited local and corporate sponsorship packages
- Served as “Account Executive” with numerous corporate partners including
Subway, America West Airlines, Arizona Lottery, US West Communications, Franklin
Quest and MBNA America. Activities include day to day sponsorship fulfillment,
implementation of promotional activities on game days, and additional
cultivation/solicitation for renewal purposes
- Implemented marketing campaigns for Football and Men's Basketball programs
- Created and implemented aggressive season ticket and promotional campaigns for
nationally ranked Sun Devil Baseball, Volleyball and Wrestling programs
- Coordinated special events for the athletic department such as Football Fan Phot o
Day, Sun Devil Club Picnic, Faculty/Staff Appreciation Days, Midnight Madness,
