Currently, an environmental scientist / industrial hygienist whose experience includes
environmental and industrial hygiene compliance reporting, due diligence reporting,
groundwater, asbestos, lead and industrial hygiene sampling. I have also served as health
and safety officer on a variety of projects.

Manpower / AEP - Industrial Hygienist,
Implementation of Corporate Industrial Hygiene Program:
Responsible for the implementation of the AEP Industrial
hygiene Assessment program, which includes the following
activities:
• Perform industrial hygiene monitoring and work hazard
assessments during site visits.
• Provide industrial hygiene support for AEP T & D
facilities.
• Conduct Industrial Hygiene Assessments on hazard
communication, hearing conservation, respiratory protection,
asbestos, lead, methylene chloride and ergonomics.

Implementation of Corporate Industrial Hygiene Program (2007-
Present): Responsible for the implementation of the Ashland
Industrial hygiene program, which includes the following
activities:
• Coordinate industrial hygiene monitoring program for over
100 facilities across five strategic business units. Provide reports
to site with industrial hygiene recommendations for improvement.
• Perform industrial hygiene monitoring and work hazard
assessments during site visits.
• Provide guidance to sites for implementation of specific
industrial hygiene programs, such as hearing conservation and
respiratory protection.
• Work with corporate medical staff with follow up
investigations on occupational health-related OSHA recordable.
• Provide industrial hygiene support for Ashland, Inc.,
customers related to Ashland products.
• Conduct site training on hazard communication, hearing
conservation, respiratory protection, blood-borne pathogens, and
ergonomics. Conduct train-the-trainer classes on confined space
atmospheric testing.
• Perform personal protective equipment evaluations for new and existing

Jan 2004- June 2005 City of Dayton Environmental Management Intern
Storm water management, water levels, storm water and river
investigations, report writing with word, excel and presentations
with power point. Developed a training program for all new
employees and managed all storm water investigations. Sampled
storm water outfalls using Hach instruments for dissolved oxygen,
pH, temperature, ammonia, nitrate, phosphate and chlorine.
Confirmed levels that were above the action levels by sending
samples to Test America. Inspected storm sewers lines to track
illicit discharges to our rivers. Educated businesses about storm
water management and corrected illicit discharges to our rivers.

Contractor, Publicly Funded Site Remediation Projects Statewide, NJ
Dept. of Environmental Protection, MSLA-1D Landfill, New Jersey
Department of Environmental Protection. Site Manager.
Managed the project to address contamination and owner non-
compliance issues at a closed industrial landfill in Kearny, New
Jersey. Work included data analyses of soil borings, using
Microsoft excel to compile boring data and equis to interpret
results. (Enforcement of health and safety plans), fieldwork and
investigations, preparation of remediation plans, costs and
specifications, and providing construction support services. Issues
being addressed include lead/asbestos, PCBs, water quality,
health/safety, hazardous materials, community relations, permits
and compliance.

soil borings, soil characterization, soil sampling, monitoring well
installation and groundwater sampling.

Industrial Hygienist Lead abatement
NY State Department of Transportation, Lead Abatement,
Major Deegan Expressway by Yankee Stadium. Hazardous
waste abatement oversight technician performing air monitoring,
data collection and analysis. Responsibilities included the upkeep
and operation of on-site air monitoring during lead removal
procedures, including data rams. Air monitoring using Gillian
