Universal Studios/Coors Amphitheatre Pulstar Award 1997
As Senior Construction Manager for a $64M Multi-Room Modular Concrete
Construction (MRMCC) housing project for DAEWOO THOMPSON, efficiently
oversaw all aspects and phases of construction. Responsibilities included bidding
on the project, management of over 150 employees, negotiation with contractors,
and coordinating plans with Los Angeles Housing Authorities, architects and civil
engineers. Consistently remained within budget and met all deadlines.
Received a Design Award from the U.S. Navy for innovative and experimental
concrete work technique. Technique was so successful that it is now being used
for airport runways and completion of other concrete construction projects.
As Construction Manager, oversaw all aspects of $14.5M construction of Fuller
Ford and South Bay Chevrolet Auto Dealerships. Worked closely with City
Redevelopment Agency from land purchase (40 acres) to project completion.
Successfully completed both projects on time and within budget.
