Senior Electrical & Controls Engineer
• Designed, programmed and installed new controls and instruments using measuring devices, data
collection, process control, sensing devices, Ethernet, Vision, HMI’s and PLC’s on the following:
equipment, production cells, handling systems, hydraulic systems, fire alarm systems, conveyor
systems, motor drive systems, Facilities, CNC systems and robots.
• Proficient in the following PLC’s: TI, A&B, Modicon and Siemens.
• Proficient in the following HMI’s: Panel-Mate, Panel-View, A&B, XYcoms (Pro-Designer) and
Wonderware.

obsolete devices and components on existing machines.
• Designing, calibration, installation, repair, testing and trouble-shooting electronic control circuits and devices
from ACAD to finished product.
• Managed installation and development of new projects making sure everything was on schedule, proper
resources were there and all the controls where correct. Each project met or exceeded time line requirements.
• Approved new electric and control designs for equipment. This included all the necessary safety
requirements of OSHA, NECA, NFPA 70 & NFPA 79.
• Engineering design and support in the area of advanced instrumentation, control, data systems and
automation.
• Managed and implemented the main maintenance tracking PC System for two plants. This included Ethernet
IP, Hubs, Switches, Secure Wireless Switches, Data Base Server, PC Hardware, backups and recovery for 35
computer stations.
• Experienced in data base administration, fire wall passwords, application programming, systems
analysis and design. I also gained knowledge in data communications, network planning, data report
writing, analysis, interfacing and modifying communications software.
• Electrical Engineering support for new bus, re-routing existing bus, new distribution panels, race
ways for high and low voltage, new switch gear, office complexes and plant facilities.
• Sr. Electrical/Mechanical Engineer of water treatment plant. (Programming PLC’s, lift stations, pumps,
motors, pull out conveyors, ect.)
Maintenance & Manufacturing Manager
• Managed supervision over two plants including six supervisors, 100+ skilled trades and production personnel.
Encouraged cooperation, safety and commitment within each work group. Also managed all union disputes
and disciplinary actions.
• Managed and implemented lean manufacturing concepts. Increased production in cells by 20%.
• Managed all scheduling for production and maintenance to keep the plant running at full capacity.
• Proactive in making adjustments in labor and machine usage to eliminate bottlenecks and potential
late conditions. Completed all tasks on time.
• Managed and developed operator procedures, troubleshooting procedures, maintenance standards,
calibration standards, instrumentation and control programming procedures.
• Managed four Corporate Account Purchasing Credit Cards for each supervisor. ($30,000.00 per month each)
• Acquisition and procurement of all materials needed to maintain production, projects and plant
operations. Also for obsolete devices and components.
• Managed all projects from contract to completion. This included priorities, organization, procedures and
problem reviews for all projects. Projects met or exceeded projected time schedules .
• Managed ISO/TS16949, Facilities, Projects, Budgets, Contracts, OSHA, NECA, Preventative and Predictive
Maintenance over two plants.
• Managed all PM audits and proved compliance to auditor.
• Made sure all ISO/TS16949 issues were compliant. Completed all findings and kept the division at zero
findings. Reduced from ten to zero findings.
