SOURCEONE HEALTHCARE TECHNOLOGIES

Vice President and Chief Information Officer 2002 to 2005
Company Overview: SourceOne was created when a private equity company purchased Diagnostic Imaging
(DI) and its primary competitor HCP and consolidated them into a single entity forming a 1.5 billion dollar
company. When this was done I was retained to lead the IT efforts of the new combined company. In 2005
SourceOne was resold to a company in San Diego and the CIO function was moved to the corporate office
there.

Specific duties and accomplishments:
• Developed and managed the projects to move the physical offices of both DI and HCP out of the original
parent companies into new facilities in Jacksonville Florida and Mentor Ohio. All wiring, new
communication circuits, and desktop computer hardware were moved and connectivity restored in the new
locations.
• Negotiated new data center hosting agreements and moved all hardware and communications circuits from
the original parent companies into new facilities.
• Developed and managed the projects to segment and move all applications that were a part of the original
parent companies and created new standalone systems for the new company.
• Worked with Vendors to move contracts from the original parent companies to contracts specific to
SourceOne or agreements negotiated by our new parent company.
• Moved the new company to single application platform merging the HCP applications into the original DI
systems reducing software support costs dramatically.
• Developed and managed a budget of over 15 million dollars to support the organization and its aggressive
growth plans.
• Selected and implemented new service software that reduced the amount of time to bill from over 45 days
to 2 days for all service calls.
• Developed and implemented a new strategic vision for IT and communicated that to all the company
insuring everyone knew the roadmap for IT.
• Reduced communication costs for the company by 75% and increased the reliability and responsiveness of
the systems.
• Consolidated all e-mail and phone systems reducing maintenance costs and streamlining customer support

DIAGNOSTIC IMAGING

Company Overview: Diagnostic Imaging (DI) was a startup division of a large medical company and sought
to dominate the healthcare imaging market by acquiring small independent dealers across the United States. I
was brought in as VP and CIO to develop and implement the IT portion of the strategy and to work with the
rest of the executive staff on acquisitions. DI was sold in 2002 and was merged with one of its competitors to
form the SourceOne entity and I was transitioned to the new corporation as VP and CIO.
Specific duties and accomplishments:
• Developed and implemented a strategic IT vision that provided consistent performance of systems while
insuring scalability and flexibility for the company.
• Lead the RFP process, selection and implementation of new software for the company including
Financials, ERP, BI, scheduling and CRM tools. Negotiated all software agreements with the Vendors.

• Managed the implementation of all infrastructure requirements for data and voice communications within

Company Overview: Techsonic, based in Eufuala Alabama designed and manufactured the Humminbird
brand of depth and fish finders. Techsonic had begun a process two years prior to me coming on board to
convert from the S36 MAPICS environment to the S38 and had ran into financial issues causing them to stop
the project midpoint. I was hired to create a new department and manage the selection and implementation of
new software for the company.
• Managed the selection, budgeting, and implementation of a new ERP/manufacturing system, completing
the project on time and under budget.
• Managed the development and implementation of new web sites to support on-line ordering for customers
and visibility into manufacturing schedules for suppliers.
• Selected and implemented new call center software throughout the company.
ABC HOME HEALTH

Company Overview: ABC began as a single office provider for health services in the Brunswick Ga area.
Through a very aggressive growth plan based on acquisitions of other companies and internal growth the
company moved from annual revenues of 1 million to over 700 million in 9 years. I began as a software
developer and progressed to the position of development manager with responsibilities for all software
development and implementations.

including GL, AR, AP, Inventory, Payroll and Human resources.
