building and construction industry for use in window and door systems.

Quality Manager

Responsibilities: Build on and manage the quality system at the Kawneer Hernando facility with an

emphasis on implementation of Process Management techniques.

Significant Accomplishments:

• Led efforts to implement a Process Management culture within the Hernando plant, making the

facility a model of success for other Kawneer and Alcoa plants to copy best practices.

• Reduced scrap by 55% in our anodize line through Process Management team improvements

within 6 months, resulting in $180K of cost savings during that time.

• Organized and led Kaizen event to re-organize WIP storage area resulting in a 10% reduction in

handling damage and numerous safety improvements.
