V.P. OF FINANCE & HR – DATA FOUNDRY & GIGANEWS 2006 to Present

Two privately held technology ventures – a leading regional ISP and Data Center provider and a premium global Usenet provider

Recruited to transition the CFO role away from President/CFO. During my first year, I was able to streamline key

accounting and billing processes, revamp the Company’s 401k plan, and completely redesign the monthly financial

reporting process.

Business & Financial Leadership

Redesigned all key financial processes for operating efficiency and increased internal control.

Developed offering memorandum along with an investment bank for sale of a subsidiary. Key member of Road

Managed the acquisition of another Usenet provider from due diligence through integration

Recruited by a common investor and CEO as the #2 business executive to establish a professional business model,

financial structure and operational processes for 2 businesses. Initiated tenure by gaining an immediate understanding of

both business concepts and market focus, substantiating the need to create 2 independent entities and P&L structures.

Created new organizational models, financial planning and controls, accounting, HR and operational systems to establish

Recognizing high demand for market vertical specific supply chain, CRM and sales force automation applications led the

spin-off of TAO Group’s consulting services and positioned its burgeoning development operations as the genesis to

Joined the company to oversee their $12M gasoline distribution division, which included compliance with CITGO

marketing and operating standards. Achieved a track record of strong profitability and cash flow by optimizing cost/price

and supply/demand in a cost-driven business impacted by highly volatile industry and market trends. Secured upwards of

$500K in cooperative promotional funding from CITGO and devised marketing incentive programs to boost sales
