• Review patient questionnaire and determine severity of asthma symptoms.
• Counsel patients or guardian on the importance compliance to obtain positive therapy outcomes.
• Model proper inhaler technique with and without aerochamber as well as have patient demonstrate
technique and verify understanding.
• Call patient’s pharmacy for history of refills in determining compliance.
• Order new medication or refills as necessary.

• Evaluate patient for any sign or symptoms of bleeding.
• Adjust warfarin dosage in order obtain therapeutic INR when necessary.

• Maintain documentation of each patient encounter.
• Initiate, modify or discontinue anticoagulation therapy.
