IBM: Project Manager – Federal Emergency Management Agency Contract (FEMA) * January 2005 –

Release Manager in a very dynamic environment tasked with launching the quarterly code installations for the

Multi-Hazard Flood Map Modernization Program Mission utilizing Microsoft Project, Microsoft Project Server, and

Microsoft Project Web Access

• The portal was based on a WebSphere Portal Server (WPS) technical architecture and contained Java,

J2EE, Struts, JUnit, and Hibernate components. Web Content Management(WMS and WFS) and Document

Management tools(Websphere Content Manager) utilized the metadata standards I developed.

• Coordinated multiple concurrent release activities across the development, operations management,

architecture, requirements, and system test groups - approx 40-50 people.

• Prepared weekly and monthly executive reports(PMR, F-6, 7 keys, etc) for IBM and Government upper

management on release status and issues.

• Initiated a new RFP to secure additional resources to support subject matter expertise in geo-spacial flood

plane mapping.
