ridership and revenue for the Pittsburgh area public transit company. Developed annual marketing
plans, departmental budgets, usage surveys, all print, television, radio, billboard advertising campaigns
and the internal communications/activity programs for the company's 3,000 employees. Administered
the company’s $2-million-transit advertising contract. Initiatives immediately reversed six years of a
steep decline in ridership and revenue.

Led a four-person department in the strategic planning and implementation of image and product
marketing programs. Programs included advertising, publications, public/media relations and special
event functions resulting in broader visibility and increased census for the hospital and its corporate
affiliates. Implemented crisis communications strategies following three fatal patient overdoses within
18 months that included quelling 20/20 (ABC) and 60-Minutes (CBS) segments that did not air due to my
comprehensive media strategy.
