Whatley Consulting – Atlanta, GA (January 2009 – Present)
Principal / Recruiter / Human Resources Consultant
Present responsibilities include partnering with large corporations, consulting firms, and other
independent recruiters for the purpose of providing full life cycle recruiting support in an effort to fill
senior level, high tech IT positions. Currently working in conjunction with a confidential client in the
Washington DC area providing recruiting support in the IT Federal space for their clientele, which includes
the U.S. government, Department of Defense, and various entities within the intelligence community.
Specifically recruiting for several mid to senior level J2EE software engineers, all of whom require TS/SCI
full scope polygraph clearance. In addition, am actively sourcing for a number of SAP positions for several
clients in Atlanta, GA, Columbia, SC, and Washington DC. Modules for these positions include FI/CO,
APO, HR, ABAP development, and Business Objects (the latter requiring candidates with TS/SCI full
scope polygraph clearance). Furthermore, am providing IT recruiting support for a confidential client in
St. Louis, Missouri. All positions for this client are specific to Microsoft technologies. Finally, am
assisting a former Microsoft colleague in a sourcing capacity in an effort to fill several Dynamics
CRM 3.0/4.0 developer positions in Phoenix, Arizona.
Microsoft – Atlanta, GA (March 2008 – December 2008)
Senior Recruiter / Consultant (Contract)
Worked as a remote contract recruiter for Microsoft in conjunction with Search Wizards, an industry
leading RPO headquartered in Atlanta, GA. Primary responsibility included providing full life cycle
recruiting support for Microsoft’s offices in Fargo, North Dakota, one of the software giant’s top five
campuses nationally. Successfully recruited for SharePoint Support Engineers, SQL DBA’s, and Microsoft
Dynamics/Great Plains Support Engineers. In addition, provided recruiting support for Microsoft’s
campuses in Redmond, Washington and Charlotte, North Carolina. Successfully recruited in these areas
for software developers, software developer test engineers, and other positions within the .Net framework.
Furthermore, participate (presently) in Microsoft’s ongoing OFCCP training so as to ensure a full, ongoing
understanding of federal compliance guidelines. Lastly, take full advantage of Search Wizards’ Webinars,
a monthly group training session to introduce new, cutting edge, industry leading recruiting techniques.
Avanade – Atlanta, GA (May 2007 – March 2008)
Senior Recruiter / Consultant (Contract)
Worked as a remote contract recruiter in conjunction with Avanade - a joint business venture between
Microsoft and Accenture - to provide full life cycle recruiting services for the purpose of hiring senior level
.Net developers to work with Avanade’s clientele on major enterprise initiatives. Successfully recruited for
Microsoft oriented positions such as Solution Developers, Senior Solution Developers, SharePoint
Developers, SharePoint Architects, and BizTalk Implementation Specialist. Secondarily, also recruited for
Business Intelligence Specialists, Microsoft Dynamics/Red Plains Specialists, and Program Managers. All
positions required candidates to commit to a minimum 80% travel schedule. Project was successfully
completed upon meeting the client’s hiring needs.
HRworks – Atlanta, GA (2004 – 2007)
Senior IT Recruiter and Human Resources Consultant (Contract to Perm)
Successfully performed full life cycle duties in recruiting senior level candidates for this Atlanta-based
outsourcing group on behalf of numerous Fortune 500 companies including, but not limited to, The Home
Depot IT, The Home Depot, and Cox Communications.
• The Home Depot IT: As a member of one of the inaugural recruiting teams for this branch of The Home
Depot, responsibilities focused primarily on The Home Depot’s SAP Division. Positions recruited for in
this highly precise technical area include Senior Managers, Managers of Information Services, Senior
Project Managers, Project Managers, Senior Functional Configurators, and Lead Functional Configurators.
• The Home Depot: While performing IT recruiting duties, simultaneously recruited on behalf of the
world’s second largest retailer for executive level Regional and District Human Resources Management
candidates. In addition, recruited for such high level positions as Regional Sales Managers, Human
Resources Managers, and Store Managers.
• Cox Communications: Successfully recruited executive level candidates, specifically Executive Vice
Presidents and Senior Vice Presidents, for Cox’s headquarters in Atlanta, Georgia.

Healthcare Recruiting and New Business Development
Performed healthcare recruiting and new business development duties for this subsidiary of Jackson
Healthcare Solutions, deemed by INC Magazine to be one of the “Top 10 Privately Held Healthcare
Companies” and named by the Atlanta Business Chronicle as one of the city’s “Top 25 Pacesetters.”
• Recruiting: From 1997 to 2000, performed duties for the following divisions and subsequent specialties:
1) Primary Care Division - Family Practice, Internal Medicine, Obstetrics/Gynecology, Dermatology,
Cardiology, Radiology, Oncology, and 2) Psychiatry Division – Adult Psychiatry as well as Child and
Adolescent Psychiatry.
• Recruiting and New Business Development: In April 2000, transitioned to the Anesthesia Division, the
most lucrative within the organization, performing new business development duties in addition to
recruiting. Responsibilities included identifying and opening new accounts with hospitals, HMO’s, private
groups and clinics for staffing purposes. Subsequently contributed to the company’s $25 million annual
budget by meeting and exceeding a personal budget of $2 million in gross revenue. In addition, maintained
constant contact with existing clientele while also working to identify and create new business via websites,
journal ads, etc. Also effectively utilized necessary techniques such as cold calling and direct sourcing.
