Developed and enhanced Java applications connecting to Oracle databases via JDBC. Clinical Data
Repository (CDR) lead and sole programmer of the CTSLD processor which processes and loads medical
documents from the Clinical Transcription System (CTS) to the CDR database; Michigan Care
Improvement Registry (MCIR) project; various data loaders (including ICD9 and CPT4 procedure and
ICD9 diagnosis codes when the new data have been publicized); and a variety of Oracle database table
updaters - included writing code, entering it into source control, testing, validation of data, developing
documentation, maintenance, enhancements, and support.
Adept at using the UNIX system tools; assisted team members with UNIX difficulties; created UNIX tools
(Korn shell, Perl, and nawk scripts) for use by team members. Acted as a UNIX reference person for team
