grounds; and real estate operations. Responsible for the maintenance of 1,750-acre main campus

in Columbus that includes over 420 buildings, 900 employees, and a combined capital and

operating budget of $447M. Responsible for project delivery supervision for 1200+ renovation

and construction projects with over $2B in projects planned in the next six years as part of the

universities strategic and physical plan.

• Leadership of a large organization in a complex environment, include organizational

alignment and operations reorganization of the planning, construction and operations

teams within 24 months

Responsibilities included the provision of the strategic direction for all major facility projects;

direction of day-to day operations to ensure long term durability of the firm’s facilities;

determination of the fiscal requirements of the Facilities Operations groups; and the formulation

of budgetary and project recommendations for a multi-site operation. Was responsible for the

management of operational services for over 1,200 staff in 23 offices across 13 states, including

administrative operations, operating budgets, space planning, relocation, new office

programming, facility management, security, capital planning, expansion, and customer service.

Other responsibilities included the management and delivery of administrative support, project

management, records management, office security, health and safety activities, reception

services, mail/courier, fleet vehicles, field equipment, telecommunications, and supplies within a

budget of over $14M. Direct supervision of all regional office and facilities services supervisors

and administrators. Responsible for strategic planning, financial analysis, and budget and staff

management, including cost reduction initiatives, recovery budgets, capital, project planning and

development and implementation of cost control programs for all service areas.

Demonstrated achievements included:

• Refined and continued to manage firm’s Telework Program Coordinator and regional

telecommunications representative for firm-wide teleworking and telecommunication

initiatives for over 12,000 employees and 90 offices worldwide

• Developed and managed the firm’s North American Facilities Operations Quality

Improvement initiative in an effort to achieve $50M savings over 10 years. Project scope

involved over 60 North American offices with $80M+ annual budgets

• Served as project consultant for all North American Regions for capital and facility

projects.

1,000 staff, assistance with JCAHO accreditation activities, ad hoc productivity reports, and

• Integrated sound contracts and grant management process into organization and

successfully obtained $250,000 in prior uncollected grant revenue

quarterly basis

OPS reductions totaling $10M
