Assess the training needs of regional businesses and arrange for the delivery of top quality training to meet the

skill gaps. Develop strategic alliances with other state and federal entities charged with advancing workforce

development in the River Region of south-central Alabama. Chair a committee for the Montgomery Area Chamber

of Commerce’s’ Council on Education and Workforce Development and orchestrate the College’s workforce

development initiatives related to short term training. Work in tandem with the Governor’s Office of Workforce

Development to promote and strengthen Alabama businesses, and cooperate with AIDT (Alabama Industrial

Development Training) and the Alabama Technology Network to proved training to new and existin g businesses in

South Central Alabama. Executive Committee Member, Governor’s Office of Workforce Development’s Region 7

Selected Achievements:

Championed the first school-based mentoring initiative with the cooperation of the Chamber, Public

School Superintendant John Dilworth, the School Board, Leadership Montgomery, and Envision 20/20.

Established an innovative contracting process at the College to hire contractors to teach non -credit

training, thereby accelerating our throughput of quality training for businesses and industry.

With over 15 years of foreign intelligence operations and analysis experience, I was invited to return to the U.S.

foreign intelligence community in 2006. At age 45, I went through Army combat training at Fort Knox to prepare

to return to intelligence operations. While at DIA, I refreshed my tradecraft training and as team leader, prepared

several young officers for our upcoming foreign clandestine intelligence assignments.

Selected Achievements:

Graduated at the top of my advanced special operations training class

Managed several sensitive Department of Defense foreign intelligence operations in Asia and Latin

America

Successfully trained and prepared my team for an extended foreign operational assignment.

Resigned in October, 2007 due to an urgent need to return to Montgomery as primary care givers for

mine and my wife’s parents.

After starting and operating a general contracting firm in Las Vegas, NV from Jan 1994 through 1998, I sold the

firm and bought and remodeled three apartment buildings in downtown Las Vegas. Later, I moved into

commercial real estate and later moved my family from Las Vegas to Utah to improve our quality of life. In Utha, I

was the Managing Member of a multi-state commercial real estate venture with operating concerns (motels,

restaurants, gift shops, and offices), in Montana, Wyoming, and Utah. I also did a substantial amount of

consulting for several national and local businesses and organizations. I taught business leadership, team building,

communications, and problem recognition and solving. I abandon my shares in the LLC to return to intelligence

operations for the U.S. Government in 2006.

Bought my first national franchise territory, sold a company, learned to factor accounts receivable,

developed my negotiating skills, managed a $3.5 million-dollar catastrophic fire loss to one of our

properties while continuing to operate the business for over two years.

Managed to keep my businesses and my family in good health and condition during some very challenging

times.
