• Assisted in negotiations with executives around sourcing, structure and terms for some of Microsoft’s M&A, investment (debt &

equity) and divested transactions. Stages include: seed to late stage funding. Deal sizes range from $5.0M up to $10.0B in TEV.

• Determined valuations for private companies, public companies, subsidiaries and minority stakes in Enterprise Software, SaaS,

Social Networking and Servers markets. Modeled buy/alternative, standalone, synergy, comparable, premia and precedent scenarios.

• Proposed, designed and machined an operational Pringles test line using prototyping, statistical and design modeling skills.

project.

• Prioritized pilot plant within a $1.0M-$2.2M budget. Cost-benefit analysis used to find solution for products tested in the future.

• Managed and designed “in-house” ISTA simulations to test thermodynamic and structural integrity of Pringles thermoformed

packaging. Also managed the quality of Pringles breakage using an excel database and statistical analysis.

• Initiated a correlation project between tensile strength of chips and industrial breakage expectation. Method gives economic

foresight. Statistical models conjured from experiments were used to yield mathematical and visual models. Presentations.

Navatek Ltd <Honolulu, HI> 2003

• Analyzed hydraulic flaps for hydroplane boats through rigorous sinusoidal movements. Boats are used as a shuttle to link the

major islands in Hawaii.

• Designed and linked optical fiber signal system through entire boat for freestanding controls and automation of flaps.

PROJECTS

MIT Manufacture Engineering Projects <Cambridge, MA>2002-2006

• Designed and manufactured injection molded yoyos and thermoform stands using CAD/CAM, CNC machines, plastic molding

machines and industry standard statistical models for examining quality of product.

• Prototypes: STM (Scanning Tunneling Microscope in nano-engineering lab) capable of atomic resolution; and Manioc root

grater for possible entry into a competitive market.

• Programmed and constructed autonomous robots using C through Linux operating system: gyros, actuators, sensor components.

MIT Media Laboratory: Economic Valuation <Cambridge, MA>2002-2006

• Worked with Professor Dan Ariely on testing the habits of financial & economic human behaviors; explored reasons why people

make irrational decisions using actual testing practices and design of consumer experiments.
