Title: Project Scheduler
• Creating and managing project schedules for aircraft maintenance at Lockheed for the Navy.
Managing the schedules to insure on time delivery of the aircraft. Creating delay notifications
when there are delays which will impact the delivery date of the aircraft. Reporting to
management the schedule status of each of the aircraft that I am responsible for. Leading the
effort to move the scheduling functions into SAP.

• In this position provided assistance to clients in helping them achieve a higher maturity within
the PM practices. This was done by building or improving their existing processes, building
standardized training material and delivering it, and/or helping them select and implement an
EPO tool that will assist them to achieving their organizational goals.
• A large portion of the implementation requirements was to insure they could be SOX
compliant since the company was up for sale and it was required by potential buyers. This was
done during the set up of the EPO tool.

07/06 – 06/07 Title: I/T Technical Specialist
• In this position, I performed post sales implementation services to customers who have
purchased the Rational Portfolio Manager tool. This included identifying and assisting the
customer in improving their processes and productivity by using the full functionality of the
tool.
• Also assisted the sales team in selling the RPM tool to new customers.
• Part of this role was to assist customers in obtaining SOX compliance by setting up the tool in
a way that would be auditable and all of the required information was available.
04/04 – 07/06 Title: PMO Implementation Manager
• This position was created in an IBM commercial account to manage the implementation of the
Rational Portfolio Manager tool to improve the profit margin of the account.
• While in this position designed and implemented two interfaces to other customer systems.
• One of the interfaces eliminated the need to have the IBM staff perform duplicate time entry
(IBM and customer time systems). The other interface retrieved information from the SR
system and built the project plans in RPM.
• Established and ran the PMO, improving the business processes in managing projects and
improving the maturity level of the project managers within the account.
• This position includes the customization of the tool as well as training the 200 project
managers in the tool along with the 2500 project team members.

• The responsibilities of this position are to assist the IBM internal divisions with deploying a
new project management enterprise tool into production. This includes developing costing
models for budget purposes and helping the organizations transform their business processes to
be able to implement and use the tool’s advantages to improve overall project management
within the organization.

• Also responsible for building the relationships and infrastructure for the IBM project
management processes into the tool. A requirement for this position is to be a certified Project
Manager with PMI and have extensive experience in both project management and IBM
commercial contract delivery.
05/01 – 03/02 IBM Global Services
Title: Deployment Manager
• In this position provided project management services for the IBM Learning Services account
for software upgrades and new release installations. This included two major application
installs that were on time and within budget.
• Provided input and guidance in improving all of the project management processes to better
deliver applications in the IBM Learning Services organization, specifically to reduce the cost
it took to implement the application upgrades.

Title: Application Manager
• Provided training to the newly hired application staff on IBM processes, such as project
management, security and customer relations.
• Also charged with improving the overall delivery processes for the application development
staff, which included the project management processes.
• During my time as the manager, I proposed and sponsored a new development effort using
Lotus Notes to create a Request for Service system and several data entry applications for the
customer. This included some web based applications for the hospital patients as well.

Title: Delivery Project Executive
• In this position, managed all outsourced I/T services for several commercial contracts. This
included insuring that all of the financials were met and to assist in meeting the profit targets
for the contracts.
• During this role, managed over 10 contracts with an average support size of 30 people and a
total contract value of over 30 million dollars annually.
• Exceeded all of my service level objectives and customer satisfaction objectives every year
while coming in at or below my expected cost budgets. This role also required building and
maintaining all processes for the account and insure that all of the contractual terms were met.
• The specialized role played in the organization was handling the new contracts and bringing
them to steady state. It also included making quarterly presentations to executive level (CEO,
CIO and Director Levels) on the status of the account and the plans for the future. These plans
were developed from joint planning sessions with the customers on what their business needs
were for the upcoming two years.
• During my time in this role, handled contracts that were mainframe, including an operating
system conversion (VSE to MVS), AS/400 SAP conversion and several client server and e-
business accounts.
Other noteworthy career accomplishments:
• Developed operational run documentation from scratch at 3 other companies.
• Developed a front-end system application to assist programmers in creating standard JCL.
