Outpatient Rehabilitation, Sub-Acute Unit, free standing Ambulatory Surgery Center, and several off site -
clinics. Departmental responsibilities include General Accounting, Data Processing, Payroll, Patient
Accounts, Materials Management, Admitting, Utilization Review and Medical Records.
Increased E.B.I.T.D.A. by 86% or $3.1 Million in a period of 1 year utilizing a combination of revenue
enhancement, utilization review, reduction in labor cost, increased compliance of utilization of purchasing
programs and effective billing procedures.
Successfully converted the Hospital Information System from Mediquist to Meditech and interface
hospital systems to the corporate information system.

Containment Board (HCCB) reporting, as well as Medicare Cost Reports.
Major accomplishments included conversion of the main -frame computer system. Also removed both
hospitals from penalty situations with HCCB totaling a pproximately $4,000,000.
