Member of MRAP hood start-up team: successfully launched full scale production from design

Implemented several manufacturing process improvements and cost savings

Brought MRAP hood priming operation in house -- $1000+ per day cost savings

Switched the rail deck core material from balsa to foam -- $300+ per day cost savings

Provided training and problem solving support for manufacturing of 2000+ MRAP hoods

Created extensive documentation of process work instructions, drawings, bills of materials, flow charts,

quality forms, potential failure mode effect analysis, material specifications, and manufacturing forms

Tactfully supported isolation and repair of defective hoods at customer’s site
