Customer Service Account Manager. This position was a full time, requiring
availability at any time to assist customers and co-workers in the production of
printed materials from magazines to specialty catalogs. Responsible for directing
every aspect of the customers work from digital files to shipped product. Establishing
credit approval, arranging for postal permits, maintaining inventory of customer
product and materials. Maintain working relationship with outside sales and customer
contacts as well as intercompany contacts with other locations. During my
employment here I was nominated for and completed the Quebecor World All-Star
training program for customer service. I also served on the safety committee with
direct involvement in safety programs and plant safety inspections.
Territory Sales Representative, Performance Food Group
This position required maintaining and growing a territory with a customer base of
fine dining establishments to convenience stores. Also, collections and handling of
payments and forwarding these funds to our corporate office are part of the weekly
duties. Further responsibilities included pricing to customers, transmitting orders via
laptop, securing credit applications as well as occasionally delivering product.
Extensive product knowledge and application were critical to success in this job.
Territory Sales, Delta Material Handling - Jackson, TN

a territory, which consisted of parts of 8 counties in west Tennessee. Prospecting and
cold calling were integrated into a regular schedule of call day activity. Weekly
reporting was expected, as were monthly sales meetings. Detailed record keeping was
done in regard to the account activities. Familiarity with rental and lease contracts
was necessary.

20 plus county territory, which encompassed parts of 3 states. This position required
extensive driving and travel of up to 1500 miles per week was often exceeded. I was
responsible for calling on major construction projects as well as industrial accounts
and a wide range of construction contractors. A broad knowledge of construction
products and materials as well as small to heavy equipment was necessary to perform
sales calls. Weekly reporting as well as regular meetings were also duties associated
with this job.
Restaurant Manager / Bar Manager, Willie Moffats Restaurant - Memphis, TN

after approximately 1 year I was promoted to the position of Bar Manager with duties
which included running the daily / nightly operations of this restaurant lounge. I was
responsible for scheduling the wait and bar staff. I purchased all items necessary for
the bar and was involved to a lesser degree with the kitchen. I worked both days and
nights with closing duties that required balancing all cash drawers and preparing
deposits. I was also involved in promotional events as well as menu planning. I was
employed in this position for a period of at least 5 years. Prior to this, I worked at
several other full service restaurants in the Memphis area.
PERSONAL
My wife Nancy and I have 3 children and live in Dyersburg, Tennessee. We are both
very active and in excellent health. We love to travel and spend time in the outdoors.
We are both very involved in community and church. My wife is a registered dental
hygienist and has worked for a local dentist for almost all of our years in Dyersburg. I
enjoy working out at the local YMCA and have coached my children in everything from
soccer to baseball and life in general.
