SELECTED ACCOMPLISHMENTS

Improved operational efficiencies. Seized opportunity to improve internal processes upon new promotion as Senior

EO Director. Established electronic filing system, improving internal accountability of documents 100%. Created EOA

handbook, expanding Advisors’ skills. Established Sexual Assault Council, classes and program, reducing assaults

50% and increasing the protection/treatment of victims 80%. Recognized as program to emulate

Turned around international base. Responsible for operations in hostile, overseas environment. Researched and

analyzed finances, housing, compensations/benefits and daily operations, identifying areas for improvement. Resolved

organizational deficiencies and tightened security, improving efficiencies and passing inspection.

Developed training curriculum. Challenged to develop training curriculum for International Computer Solutions.

Learned software, hardware, customer interaction scenarios, gaining knowledge for step-by-step training instructions.

Identified 200+ potential scenarios, creating scripts and training pr ogram for 166 field sites and centralized call center.

Streamlined training program to contain costs. Tasked to update and reduce the length of the E qual Opportunity

(EO) course. Assessed requirements of the program, rewriting, modifying and updating the course for multiple Army

divisions. Reduced course from two weeks to six consecutive days, saving the Army over $14M annually.

CAREER HISTORY

Training Manager, International Computer Solutions, 2008 to 2009. Contracted to develop/implement strategic

learning programs and employee development initiatives for digitizing medical records. Built and launched a customer

service call center for 166 satellite offices worldwide. Led team of three.

US Army. Rose through the ranks to levels of increasing responsibiliti es to Sergeant Major, responsible for Equal

Opportunities, Training, HR and operations divisions. Recipient of numerous awards, including the Bronze Metal.

Training Curriculum Developer Equal Opportunity Director, 2006 to 2008. Promoted to develop and

execute curriculum for the HR and equal opportunity (EO) program for the Active Army, Army Reserve and

Army NG. Rewrote the Core Curriculum used to train EO advisors for all branches of the military.

Senior Equal Opportunity Director, 2003 to 2006. Promoted from Director of Training to direct 24 equal

opportunity (EO) advisors and activities servicing 24,000+ military/civilian employees in Korea. Developed EO

training course, which became the model for the DOD Equal Opportunity Management Institute.

First Sergeant, 2001 to 2003. Promoted to manage the daily administrative, operational and logistical

requirements for a 300 employee base. Oversaw HR, annual budgets, training, and assignments.

Earlier: Promoted from various operations/training positions to manage administrative, operational, information

technology, and logistical requirements for national and international assignments.

Leisure Activities: I enjoy bike riding, weight lifting, running, am the VP of the Fort Jackson Victory Riders Club and

Carolina Chapter President of the Adjutant General Regimental Association, a professional global HR organization.
